I heard some completely unsubstantiated rumors that we might see an alternate universe where Ian McKellen's Magneto won. There's really no reason to believe this rumor, but I do think it's an interesting possibility.

If anyone outside of the original cast deserves another crack, it’s Liev Schreiber. Though I’m surprised he doesn’t have permanent damage from carrying Origins on his back.

Definitely. If any Fox villain should return, I’d like to see him. Plus his character has a history with Deadpool.

I’m still hoping Mojo is the Big Bad in this, and Emma Corrin is playing Spiral. Plenty of opportunities for familiar faces to pop up on one of Mojo’s gladiator TV specials—in colorful costumes, no less!

I question how much Deadpool 3 can get shot before they end up pausing production.

If it's 5-6 weeks they can get a decent chunk, like you would think midway.

Spiral would be visually great if eXecuted well.

As for the returning foXverse villain. Lady Deathstrike, Viper and Emma Frost would be my choices, only 1 though would return. I don't want to see Stryker again. Sabretooth/Toad/Juggernaut won't eXcite me. And please no Mystique too.

For the returning MCU villain. It won't be Thanos unless they use some stock footage from Endgame and Infinity War like in Doctor Strange 2. I don't want to see Loki again, who imo has overstayed his welcome. Ultron would be random. I guess Kang featuring the recast actor?

Hope not. Would rather that kind of 4th wall joke be reserved for inconsequential gags, not major plot devices (*glares in the direction of She-Hulk*).

Much prefer the idea that he just gets mixed up with the TVA because they find out about Deadpool using that device to fork up the timeline. Would also make sense for Loki to show up in that scenario, so I could definitely him being the returning MCU villain.

Well, except when Captain America went to the past and stayed there. Seems like time only fragments into alternate realities in the MCU under certain circumstances. bad place, maybe we'll finally get an explanation for why it sometimes splits and other times it doesn't. Could be something the TVA is responsible for.

Hoping we just get a movie that involves Deadpool crossing into the MCU via multiversal travel tech, while featuring a guest appearance from the Fox X-men that respects their history and gives them one last moment to shine, despite taking a few inevitable comedic jabs here and there (akin to what we got with Colossus and NSTW in the first two movies).

I'd be surprised if there wasn't an offhand or even background mention of Wrexham. When the team's anthem has the lyric 'Bring on the Deadpool and Rob McElhenney,' I think Reynolds will find a way to give Wrexham some sort of shoutout in the movie.

Either that or Aviation Gin.
