2010-2011 NBA thread: One LeBron To Live

That's A reason, sure, but is it really anywhere near the top on the list of reasons people dislike this team? Probably not. Whatever the case, people are watching and this team has helped make the NBA interesting for the first time in a long time.

What other reasons would people have to hate them? Lebron James was arguably the most liked athlete in all of sports. The reason he is so hated, is because most people think he gave up and quit in game five against Boston last season and when he realized that he isn't good enough to win a championship on his own, he would run to Miami to take the role of Robin to D-Wade's Batman. That he and D-Wade and Bosh would dominate the entire league and that he would get carried to seven championships as he said. And not only that, he did it in a self promoting one hour special on ESPN which embarrassed the entire city of Cleveland in the process. Fans of other NBA teams even felt bad for the entire city which has a bad history with all their sports teams, and then to top it off, not even a week after but a day after he and Bosh signed with Miami, you have them on stage dancing around like they had just defeated the Lakers in game seven of the finals. And you mix in Lebron making arrogant statements about karma after a depleted Cavs team gets crushed by the Lakers and about how he's going to continue to be great after a win against his old team and you get this. And it doesn't help that people think Bosh is Wade and Lebron's lapdog. The same guy that claims his head coach wants them to work hard while he just wants to chill. For the most part, Bosh and D-Wade aren't talking that much, but Lebron is always making a statement to put them in the news.
