The king of the ghouls fights one of history’s most malevolent madmen in this stirring new novel.

File this under “The Greatest Concepts in Horror History”.

Well, at least this reader/writer finds it irresistible. And frankly, I’d rather only associate with those who feel the same.
It seems that Hollywood screenwriter Patrick Sheane Duncan, the man behind the real-time Johnny Depp thriller NICK OF TIME and the syrupy Richard Dreyfuss vehicle MR. HOLLAND’S OPUS has turned author. And his first book is a re-write of Stoker’s DRACULA, wherein the Prince of the Undead himself squares off against the freaking Fuhrer!
That’s right, there now exists a novel called DRACULA VS HITLER. And it looks utterly fan (fang?) tastic.
Bite into this synopsis:

At the beginning of World War II, Professor Van Helsing and his fierce daughter Lucy have united with guerrilla forces in Transylvania to defeat Adolf Hitler and his army. But the valiant team is no match against Nazi brutality. Only someone sadistic and relentless can match the depredations of the Gestapo. And luckily, Van Helsing happens to know just the guy.
Prince Vlad Dracula, the onetime ruler of Transylvania, might be an insatiable vampire, but he’s a patriot above all else. When Van Helsing revives the legendary Count Dracula from his tomb, the professor unleashes a killing machine upon their mutual enemies. Dracula is more than willing to drive out his country’s invaders, especially if the task includes all the German blood he desires. But when Hitler, who yearns to be immortal, hears that Dracula lives, he heads to Transylvania for the ultimate battle. Can history’s deadliest villain be defeated by the world’s most monstrous legend

Interesting to say ,even though Dracula took place years before WWII.

*reads title*

"…Dawn of Justice"

is this what modern literature has sunk to

gimmicks like this and "pride and prejudice and zombies"

goodbye western civilization

This is probably burried in the annals of Fanfictiondotnet.

Interesting to say ,even though Dracula took place years before WWII.

Avengers Assemble introduced a similar concept in season 1. Captain America told his teammates that Dracula feared the advance of the Nazis so much that he secretly aligned the vampire nation with the Allies. I was hoping the show would eventually revisit the 40s and show some of that story, but it hasn't so far.

And the sequel will gives us vampires nazis.

Which Call of Duty will promptly steal since every is tired of zombie nazis.

In the synopsis it says Van Helsing is still alive. Dracula the novel took place in 1890's [1891-1897]. World War II started in 1939. Dracula is immortal so that gives him a pass. But thats 40+ years that has passed. Van Helsing would be like 100 !
