Hugh Laurie to Star in HBO Space Comedy From 'Veep' Creator

The comedy, which currently has a pilot commitment and order for back-up scripts, is set in the future, mostly in space. Laurie will take on the role of Ryan Clark, the charming and in-control American captain of the Avenue 5. Iannucci created the series and exec produces the comedy.

I'd like to imagine that this is the future world if Tom James (Hugh Laurie's character on Veep) became President of the United States. Good premiere. Happy to see Zach Woods back on another HBO series so soon after Silicon Valley ended.
