He's one of those actors that I've always known I'm supposed to find cute, but never have been able to. Still, he's got that basic golden boy look I associate with Alan, so it works, imo.

His youth, and obviously the character being gay, points to a certain level of New 52 characterization, but I really hope the costuming is 100% Golden Age.

One of the things Zack Snyder did right with his Watchmen was making that era (the ‘40s) of superhero costumes look kind of hokey but also awesome at the same time. I want that for Alan Scott.
