I think it is entirely reasonable and proper for Americans to protest against likely policy changes that they are worried about. That's what democracy is about.
I find it entirely unreasonable and improper for people to protest against the outcome of a democratic election, particularly non-Americans who don't even have the right to vote for the next president. It is also counterproductive, as it is hugely disrespectful to the l"other" half of the American electorate. All this just deepens the decreasingly spannable political divide.
