The Queen Mary to Serve As Backdrop for Shining-esque Thriller
Ryan Turek December 17th 2013, 6:50 am
Those who live in the Los Angeles area know the Queen Mary well. The ocean liner has a rich, haunted history, it serves as a hotel now and it hosts an annual haunted house event every Halloween season.
Ubiquity Studios is now going to use The Queen Mary as the backdrop of a thriller being described as "The Shining on a ship" called The Queen Mary, reports Variety. Gary Dauberman will pen the script. He also penned the unproduced Hellfest, about a killer in an amusement park, which Gale Anne Hurd (The Walkin Dead) was shepherding and Crawlspace for New Line.
Shooting begins next spring on the actual Queen Mary.

Could be good. I'm not a horror fan at all. But "thrillers" are right up my alley/

I love the Queen Mary. If you guys are ever in California around Halloween, be sure to visit the Queen Mary. They have a fantastic Halloween set-up.
