State your unpopular book or music related opinion

Well by simple virtue of the fact that Nirvana are infinitely more popular in the eyes of mainstream audiences, I'd say it kinda is, sadly. But then Nirvana were always destined to be more popular, just as mainstream audiences are forever destined to lap up the somewhat diluted, ever so slightly more accessible forms of music that initially has edge to it.

eminem should've dissed kanye, wayne, & drake back in 2009 instead of work with them.

Out of the four grunge bands.

I always thought Alice In Chains were better than Nirvana musically and as a band.

Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion, but Stephen Jenkins is an amazing songwriter. I look at him as a 90s/2000s Bob Dylan. Not quite at that level, though.

i hated Beyonce's last album

Dragonlance Chronicles is a boring trilogy. I'm not sure why it turned up in so many recommended read lists I got back when I start looking into fantasy.

Think you can handle it?

...

10. Don't know if it's unpopular, but Iron Maiden is hilariously bad.

No. I can't handle that.

You can dislike them. I don't like everything they did. But to say they are hilariously bad is to suggest they are inept musicians who can't compose songs or play their instruments. And that's a pretty...out there statement.

Oh, and while we're on the subject of Iron Maiden and unpopular music opinions... Paul Di'Anno >>>>>>>>>> Bruce Dickinson.

Frank Sinatra as a recording artist was waaaay overrated.

lupe fiasco's first 2 albums is better than anything kanye's ever put out.

i don't think rihanna is a very good singer, but she does have some good songs

I only listened once and Im a fan of his, but I dont think that The Weeknd's new album is that good. Not bad but nothing crazy, especially when compared to Miguel's latest effort.

But even without comparing it, I am not impressed

I think Mastodon are a musically better than Metallica and Megadeth.

I can understand that. What do you think of them in this particular song? It's a sample, but I think it works rather really well here.

Contemplate - Wale f/ Rihanna

i like Wale a lot anyways, and he usually uses really cool samples or co-artists (Duffy, Lily Allen, Gaga, etc)

as for rihanna, i probably like her voice best on Hate That I Love You w/ Ne-Yo or Four Five Seconds with Kanye and McCartney

had to remove your link though because there is profanity

It's not his best but Often, Can't Feel My Face, The Hills, Acquainted, Tell Your Friends and Angel are sooo good!

The first time I heard one of her songs in a mashup of others, I honestly thought it was a guy singing. I think it was a chunk from that Diamonds song. :D

-Metallica's cover of "Turn the Page" > Bob Seger's original song
-Contrary to the collective agreement of all of the Bob Dylan snobs I know, his 1970's work is GREAT.
-A Feast for Crows is an excellent volume in the 'Ice and Fire' series.
-Jackson's Hobbit Trilogy > The Hobbit (book)

After Demon Apocalypse, it's when the Demonata Series started to suck.

I just cannot get into fantasy except for a select few authors. The vast majority I find boring. If there's no technology in it beyond a waterwheel or something then I just can't be bothered to follow it.

Does that make me a tech hipster? :p
