That was suprising that Dirk didnt shoot the ball well in the series at all

Haslem and Posey played some seriously physical D on him. He had his moments (especially in late in Game 5), but for the most part he didn't get it done, and he's supposed to be their man. Terry looked more like the man for the majority of that series, and hell, Marquis Daniels was the only reason they were in Game 6 in the second half. :O

****s disgusting and next year they aint even gonna get to the fnals cause Amare will return and murk them

The Suns getting to the conference finals without him (and after losing Q Rich) is a testament to Nash's leadership and Marion's underrated...ness. :D

If Amare comes back at least 75% of the player he was the year before, Phoenix is going to be hard to beat in the West.

Here's how my fandom goes:

1. Mavericks.
2. ANYONE but the Spurs.

:D

I really hope Phoenix re-signs Tim Thomas in the off-season dude finally smartened up and played great ball.
Plus a frontcourt of Diaw, Amare, Marion and TT off the bench would be fun to watch who cares if they cant play D.

Amare straight jumping over cats, Nash lobbing to Marion, Barbosa dishing out to Thomas who knocks down the three on the edge and give the Cena/Yayo hand waive and Raja Bell clothslining some kid again would be fun to watch

I'm so mad at Dirk "choke" Nowitzki.

0 field goals in the 4th

0 shot attempts past inside the arc in the 4th

Where's teh heart, guts, and drive to get to the line?

So much for the Larry Bird comparison. I wish those "experts" would just shut up.

*Shrugs* Dude messed up in his finals, no biggie still dont stop the Bird comparisons.
Shaq's Wilt comaprisons didnt stop after Hakeem left him shook in 95.

He should use that experience and a motivator

Must have been a gay bar cause every Laker fan I know is pissed then again there more Kobe fans and aint you a Clipper fan anyway?
There were some gay's there but not enough to call it a gay bar. ANd the one's that are mad about shaq winning the championship are the pro-kobe's! Me myself have always been a lakers but Anti-kobe after 2004! And yes im a Clippers who should be title contenders next year!

Mark Jackson went from comparing Dirk to Larry Bird to saying he was playing like a solid role player.

I hate the comparisons to the greats. Anyone truly earning such a comparison has enough game to distinguish themselves and stand alone. There's never a "next" whoever...unless you wanna talk about busts. They're plenty of those to draw accurate comparisons to.

I think losing will actually help the Mavs big time next season. When you get within reach of something you want then get it taken away you fight 10x harder next time. Plus the youngsters needed the lesson.

Let's be politically correct there called "Laker Fans". So wait you were anti-Kobe because Shaq left in 2004 and then you stopped being a laker fan?

Weird thing is, I think this is first NBA off-season where a lot of teams and players are gonna be extra motivated. It's always like that when someone wins the title that no one expects or when a team comes close that no one expected them to

Right. Messing up in the Finals is never a "biggie". Especially when your team is up 2-0 in the series and ahead by 13 with 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

As for Shaq, he was only in what? His 2nd or 3rd year when he took the Magic to the Finals? Of course he was going to get "shook" by Hakeem. He (Hakeem) was arguably the best center in the NBA at the time.

What Kobe did to the Lakers two years ago made me literally hate the game of baketball!!! It wasnt until the beginning of this season when I saw my beloved Clippers finally play some good b-ball and more imporntatly played as a Team! Yes Im Lakers fan! They will always have a special place in my heart but dont ever expect me to give any respect to ****ing Kobe!!! I ****ing hate that guy!

Houston was the 7th seed that year and no one throught they were gonna repeat. Orlando was the first seed in the East and after beating the Bulls and Pacers people thought a dynasty was in the making. The Magic were up by 20 in Game 1 and blew it and were never the same, Same in Game 3 when Horry hit the game winning 3 after Orlando was leading in the game. One game can kill your swagger for the rest of the series. It dont matter about the lead in the series it's how your perfomance dictates your team's tempo. Dirk didnt have finals experience so what do you expect? You pick up and learn.

Weak argument. Neither did Dwyane Wade.

Shaq did. Lots in fact, and he's Wade's tag team partner.

I said it once and I'll say it again, the series was rigged to help Miami get the victory. Game 3 wasn't rigged, that was just a plain outright choke job by the Mavs.

Games 4 and 5 are very questionable. Especially that phantom foul on Wade that sent him to the line.

The tapes also reveal that Josh Howard never went to the refs to confirm a time-out, thus showing that it was a lie by the officials. In the end nothing can be done and the Heat are the champions. While I hate the Heat with a burning passion, they won the series and hell, Dallas had a chance to tie it in Game 6 and just lost the game.

Dirk didn't step up like I thought he would. It was him who should've taken the last shot in Game 6, not Terry nor Stackhouse, but Dirk. Dirk is supposed to be the leader and he's supposed to step up.

At one time Bird didn't have experience in the Finals; but he knew when his team needed him the most. If the Mavs want it next year they're going to have to be tougher, more consistent, and not allow Shaq to bully them into obvious fear. Seemed like when Dirk got elbowed by Shaq he forgot how to play.

Now I understand why the Heat fans brought Hasselhoff stuff to the game. Talk about real morons and creepy people. What in the world were they doing with Hasselhoff semi-nude pictures anyways?

The only player I'm happy for is Zo. Zo has always been a class act and has always been a hard worker, so I'm very happy for him that he finally got a ring, especially after the ordeal he went through that involved his kindney.

Yes, Shaq had plenty of experience, but he only averaged 13.7 points throughout the series.

His coach was Pat Riley and his teamates were vets like Shaq, Payton and Zo Mourning. Vetrans. Please dont sit there and act like Wade did this all by himself, yeah he can win but in terms having team vet experience the Heat were a full team and had more experience than the Mavs.

So you got the weak argument. Seriously Webby everytime we talk ball you act like you didnt even watch the NBA until Shaq came to south beach. Just a quick test do you know who Voshon Lenard is?
