Abuse of Power Thread (Cops, Governments, Etc.) - Part 2

Cameras don't do any good if the recordings are kept secret.

At least he's in jail for it now.

Crashes into private property, demands the owner of said property show ID then arrest them and lie claiming they were assaulted? Police caught lying again and nothing will change.

Just proves most bullies are actually cowards.

Not sure what the context of this 2024 Xtwitter thread is. But the actual events are old news: the ex-cop/perpetrator was convicted and sentenced back in 2015. (Perhaps this is Crazed.net's schtick: reporting news from the past... ?)

He deserves it. If nothing else, 263 years in prison pretty much guarantees he'll never be a free man ever again.
Maybe his new friend Bubba will let him know what his victims went through.

Pay them half a million to resign instead of making them go to jail for murder. Yep, the system works (for cops).

Cops used the pretense of searching for someone as an excuse to raid a lawyers house and violate privilige? Not surprised LAPD was behind it (this time).

Only a misdemeanor? Attempted murder by a cop and they charge him with the equivalent of shoplifting?

Double standards. If a cop does it, it's a misdemeanor. Meanwhile, if a regular citizen does the same thing, I think it's a felony of some sort.
