I am sick of this nonsense from Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn.

Every time Deontay Wilder is free for a fight, they come up with an excuse not to fight him.

Every time Deontay Wilder has fights scheduled, Joshua calls him out because he knows Wilder is unavailable.

Example: After Wilder beat Ortiz the first time and Joshua beat Parker, Wilder called Joshua out.

Joshua said he'd fight Wilder for a 50 million dollar up front fee.

Wilder's handlers not only promised that fee, but also offered Joshua a percentage of the PPV revenue up front.

Joshua declined. He declined the single biggest heavyweight purse in the history of combat sports for an undisputed heavyweight title fight. He made a demand so ridiculous he didn't think Wilder would take it, and Wilder called his bluff.

Then Joshua's camp made Wilder another offer they thought he wouldn't take. They offered him a 15 million dollar flat fee and declared that Wilder would have to go to the UK.

Surprising them, Wilder accepted the fight. Hearn intentionally sent Wilder a contract for the fight missing the specifics (such as the date and venue of the fight). Wilder asked for clarification and Hearn ignored him until the WBA's deadline to make the fight ran out, so they ordered Joshua to fight Povetkin in a mandatory defense.

Then later, Joshua needed an opponent for MSG after Jarrell Miller tested positive for PEDs. Once again they made a phoney offer to Wilder, knowing full well that Wilder already had a fight signed with Luis Ortiz.

Now fast forward to the present, and Joshua is once again calling out Wilder. Wilder has a fight with Fury on February 22, and both fighters have an automatic rematch clause. Beyond that, Wilder is due to make a mandatory defense of his WBC title in early 2021 against Dillian Whyte if he beats Fury.

So the absolute earliest Wilder would be contractually free to fight Joshua is the second half of 2021.

But Joshua is calling him out now, when it's safe to do so, so that his casual fanbase thinks he actually wants the fight.
