To no surprise, JL#1 by Johns and Lee took the top spot for August with 171,344 issues sold.

Here's the full top 10:
1 Justice League 1 $3.99 DC 171,344
2 Flashpoint 5 $3.99 DC 94,547
3 Fear Itself 5 $3.99 Marvel 90,914
4 Flashpoint 4 $3.99 DC 86,216
5 Ultimate Comics Fallout 4 $3.99 Marvel 73,764
6 Amazing Spider-Man 667 $3.99 Marvel 71,235
7 Avengers 16 $3.99 Marvel 60,295
8 War of the Green Lanterns Aftermath 2 $3.99 DC 57,707
9 Amazing Spider-Man 668 $3.99 Marvel 57,533
10 New Avengers 15 $3.99 Marvel 56,035

Other notables include:
DD #2 sank horribly to #32 with 40K sold. that's around pre-Shadowland levels if I'm not mistaken. This book deserves so much better than this.

Uncanny X-Force continues to hold on strong (yay!). 50K

Punisher #1 debuted at #25 with 44K.

Ultimate Fallout sold that well? I'm shocked.

I'm not, the final issue of Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man sold very well and there was promotion about Ultimate Comics: Fallout debuting Miles Morales.

Even though he was only in it for a page. :o

DD's sales are scaring me. Its such a damn good book, i feel like if sales keep slipping, Marvel's gona replace the creative team and i was really hoping we'd get a nice long run of Waid, Rivera and Martin.

Valid point. I completely forgot about the promotion behind the "new" bi-racial spider-man.

You know, if Daredevil's sales keep slipping (although honestly, I'm not surprised by this drop in the slightest), I wouldn't mind seeing Waid adapting Black Widow in the title again, complete with a shared title marquee, for old time's sake. It would be a nice nostalgia nod, and I think her presence would generate a few extra sales each month. I also think Daredevil's upcoming spot in New Avengers could potentially give his own series a bump, so I'm not too worried just yet.
