Because most any picture of Sean Connery is awesome, I present -

And to reaffirm his awesomeness....here is a true story about him -

Johnny Stompanato was a bagman and enforcer for mobster Mickey Cohen. He had relationships, mostly abusive, with several actresses. In 1957 Stompanato took up with Lana Turner after she had divorce husband number five, actor Lex Barker.

Turner soon flew to London to film “Another Time, Another Place” with Sean Connery. The ever ready Turner and Connery were soon involved. Their affair continued even after Stompanato followed Turner to England. Stompanato showed up on the set and pulled a gun on Connery. Connery promptly decked the mobster.

Stompanato’s illegal gun earned him a police escort to the airport and a flight back across the Atlantic.
