ABOUT THIS RELEASE: In order to present as much music as possible from Batman in the best possible quality, multiple sources were utilized with the best-quality elements selected for each cue on an individual basis. For disc one and the bonus cues on disc two, three sources were used: Eric Tomlinson's 35mm 4-track mixes, 1/4 inch stereo mixes and a stereo 35mm music only track. The album cues on disc two were sourced from the original digital album master featuring Shawn Murphy's stereo album mix.

I will be buying this as soon as it becomes available. It's about time they released this.

Definitely getting that. Hopefully La La Land will release the complete Batman Returns this year too.

If I remember correctly. Wasn't there a petition for this? Anyways.. Can't wait!

I hope they do a Returns one as well. That's one of my favorite Elfman scores.

OMG YES!!! :woot: I've been waiting so long for this. Any idea on what the release date is?

There sure was...it's pointless now :-)

I've been hoping for this for years now...so happy to see it (and Returns later in the year) released!

I trust someone will bump this once it's available? I'd hate to miss out on this one.

It drops next tue so that should be enough of a heads up for ya

How does La La Land Records know who/where to ship it to?

You click order, next pulls up a page to checkout, then it pulls up another page to give out your address infomation?

I heard La-La Land Records will release Returns during the holiday season.

Just ordered this :woot:... Didn't really have the money for it but the Bat-fan in me could not be contained.

Onto Batman Returns hopefully.

I ordered my copy today. Can't wait for the Returns release.

Does anyone think they'll be doing the same with Begins and The Dark Knight? They've covered most of the Batman groundwork already, including the Animated Series. Begins and The Dark Knight would only make sense.

I don't think they need to do BB or TDK. Hopefully they do this with BF and B&R (an official release.)

Awww why? You broke again? :oldrazz:

MAYBE. :cmad::cmad::cmad::cmad:

Nope, won't happen. With either BB,TDK,BF, or B&R....Well, maybe forever.
I do know they planned on releasing it (and I think Batman Forever as well). From what I remember, the original plan was to release all 4 films in expanded/complete forms.

Sadly when WaterTower Records formed, Warner Bros signed a new exclusive deal with them. Which means no other labels can release WB titles. Which is a shame cause WaterTower Records does not have any intention of releasing old catalog titles. I'm not sure how long exactly the deal is for, but i think it's for a few years at least.

When this happened, LLL still had contracts on 3 WB titles. Of course we now know it's Batman and soon, Batman Returns. I have no idea though what the third and last WB title is, but I don't think it's non-Batman related. But I could be wrong.
