Can someone give this idiot advice on making a website ??

I'm the idiot....

So I have free websites I used in the past like weebly and wix. Weebly is great, you pick a theme and can drag stuff around, VERY easy to use...

Looking into getting a domain finally. Want to do something like weebly where its very simple to use, not complicated for a beginner like myself. So the cheapest / most popular is godaddy matches with wordpress to make the website. I'm wondering if wordpress is just as easy as drag and click to design a website ??

I want a personal website, nothing big or spectacular. I just want to design a website with pictures / text and want a comment box (like front page SHH type of thing). I dont need a lot of space, or any of that stuff, just a very small website.

Do not go for Godaddy. you will be lost!

Go for any cheaper domain and hosting. Using softaculous software installer get wordpress installed.

-> Use a free theme upload from backend to upload a nice design on your website
-> Create pages and make content pages or use a gallery plugin to update images etc.
