John Travolta & the late Kelly Preston...their daughter Ella Bleu Travolta as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman. For Ella, WW would be her breakout role and she would be able to step out of the shadow of her famous parents.
Well, at least, someone can see it ,too. She's not my first choice, but she should definitely try out for the role, when it will actually happend.John Travolta & the late Kelly Preston...their daughter Ella Bleu Travolta as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman. Serious question here.
For all of you offering suggestions of Oliver Queen: why do you want him in the movie? What does that character add at all?
I seriously doubt that WB would allow the character to be done appropriately because if you did, then he would alienate a large portion of the audience, namely moderates to right wing folks.
So why have him in it except that he has had a television show?
Also, the character potentially alienating some audiences because he's a liberal, anti-capitalist, white socialist is no reason to not use him. Nothing suggests they wouldn't allow that to be done either.
Now you're just taking lines out the first episode of Justice League Unlimited.Absent these aspects of the character, he’s actually quite boring. If they would lean into his hard traveling hero persona where he is the vigilante for the downtrodden and a die hard left wing SJW, then he is a great character. Especially when you also realize that despite all of his preachiness, he failed his own ward.
He has the capability to be a great character. But my fear, given the adaptations that he has appeared in on television, is that he will be just another Batman but with a bow. The fact that Arrow actually had him join the police force at one point while also taking Black Canary and having her go from being a legal aid lawyer to being a prosecutor probably had Denny ONeil rolling over in his grave.
To me Ollie has never fit in with the Justice League. He is the hero for the ignored and the marginalized. He’s not well-suited for the cosmic battles. That’s why I don’t understand him showing up on this thread.
Really? Lol. I’ve never seen it!Now you're just taking lines out the first episode of Justice League Unlimited.
Elizabeth Debicki is the only actress I can think of who is actually that tall. 🤭Yeah, I know that's Gunn's not as picky when it comes to actresses' heights, but I still think that Wonder Woman will be the exception. Barda too (if she ever appears in the new DCU).
For women, 5′9″ and above is generally considered tall.Elizabeth Debicki is the only actress I can think of who is actually that tall. 🤭
Barda has to be taller than her husband (think Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman) at least. So I guess Mister Miracle can be a shorty. For women, 5′9″ and above is generally considered tall.
Yeah, I can see Barda being 5'11" or 6'0". Wondy will probably be at least 5'9". Or, like you said, they can just get a short or average-sized guy for Mister Miracle.Barda has to be taller than her husband (think Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman) at least. So I guess Mister Miracle can be a shorty.

I have to ask - Why do you think Gunn isn't picky when it comes to Actresses' height? Which of the characters in the movies he directed was supposed to be taller then the actresses portrayed them?Yeah, I know that's Gunn's not as picky when it comes to actresses' heights, but I still think that Wonder Woman will be the exception. Gamora and Supergirl are just two off the top of my head. Gamora? Saldana is like 5'7. That tall for a woman. To me it seems in his pick - height was matter to him, when they cast her.Gamora and Supergirl are just two off the top of my head. But like I said, Wonder Woman and especially Big Barda will probably be the exception.

About Supergirl... Where is it say she suppose to be tall? From a short search of "DC supergirls" I see her height in the comic is around 5'5. Just like the actress that will portray her for Gunn's DCU.
Anyway With her powers and backround i see no need for her to be tall.
I suggested her back in January and was told that, at the ripe old age of 32, she’s likely aged out of the Wonder Woman role.I haven’t seen her suggested for Diana yet, but Laysla de Oliveira really impressed me on the show Lioness. The show itself was kind of a mixed bag but she was a really believable badass and had a good character arc. And at 5’8”, she would be a good height for Diana.

At 32.
