THat's part of it, but again....there are many stages and huge amounts of time in between branches and the examples of something like a fox and dolphin. It took many different stages to become (a la. evolve into) those animals.Isn't eveolution a theory where alllife has a common ancestor somewhere down the line. The Bible doesn't take evolution that far.
As said before, the people who wrote the bible never knew about this stuff, and it's not the place to look for explanations or proof against it....as it's not a science or anything close to one.
It's true to scientific and rational extent. And et fact is that nothing else is even close to tat, regarding what it is that it explains.Evolution is true to an extent but not as you put it or want to believe it is.
You can 'want' to believe that planets aren't billions of years old, or tat stars aren't millions of light years away....but science and reality will show that they did and are. So again, the big question is...why would one NOT want to believe it? What is the fear that its incites? That needs to be addressed, because trying to discredit evolution is futile.
I'm not saying it's not remarkable for whatever reasons, and neither is evolution. You have to be understand that...evolution is not out to discredit or disprove religion. Just like any science, it is there only as an explanation of the truth and reality. Evolution isn't saying that there is no higher power...but if there is, evolution proves that it didn't create or develop life, especially not as the bible or other religious texts put it literally.Bible prophecy and it's fulfillment is quite remarkable despite how you put it and is definite evidence towards something, that something being a higher power.
This 'evidence' of a higher power that you speak of is not scientific evidence. So be there a power or not, don't say it's an argument against something that does have it. If you have a problem with a science, address it scientifically.
