One of the earliest heroes I came up with in the early 2010s. As I started redesigning my superhero universe, I ended up watching the Percy Jackson films & got inspiration for my own Atlantis themed story. The name Kyros was originally attached to an entirely different story that I thought was lame, so I paired it with this and reworked the character into what he is currently.
Not surprisingly, Kyros does sort of tie in to my Titan characters. He isn't blood related, but he is the cousin of Madara, Thane Grim's wife. 🤷♂️
Thanos has Lady Death in the Marvel universe, so within mine the character Dominus has romantic ties to Lascifera, who is the being commonly referred to as Satan/Lucifer.
Dominus here technically hails from a race that is descended from a subspecies of Titan, but he is not directly related to the Grim family clan.
A look at more feral versions of werecat to expand on what I mentioned before.
Not particularly worried with having just one set look for all werecats since felines are known for having so much variation & I feel that would apply here as well. Though one idea I'm working with is that werecats typically start off more humanoid & prone to walk upright, whereas the longer the person is afflicted by the curse the more feral they become.
It amazes me every time I look at the Thane character. From 2019 to now, he's changed dramatically. He went from a simple powerhouse that transformed into an Oni-esque creature to being central to the Titan mythology I've built up. From what was going to be a one-off character to essentially being the face of my company alongside Damien Black.
Riptide
Somewhat of a newer creation that will primarily be an antagonist of the Black Knight character. Because of me being a huge wrestling nerd, one night as I was watching a Rhea Ripley match as she hit her finisher I just thought "Riptide" would be such a perfect name for a supervillain.
As far as her overall design & aesthetic, just like her father Damien Black, Adelaide has surprised me in a massive way. I really wanted to make Adelaide a superhero version of the Avatar, but I didn't want to lean into her being overly brooding or too somber. I think her design now strikes a perfect balance. It's unique, it fits in perfectly with the Grim lineage & it has that Avatar-esque dark quality to it but with a more feminine touch.
In the case of Mako, I figured it was time again to finally post a Titan that isn't (directly) related to the Grim family lineage.
With Mako, I've wanted more aquatic Titans for a while, especially after seeing Knifehead in Pacific Rim back in 2013. Still probably my favorite Kaiju design from that universe.
Emperiex (original form)
500+ million years ago a strange & very unique organism emerges. Separating itself from others of its kind, it would ultimately come to land, where it would evolve into the first Titan, the being known as Emperiex. From there, as maintained by Emperiex herself, she asexually produced Ti'Kar, Darqueness, Ka'Narias & Hidora among others, becoming the first brood of Titans.
Obviously there's a lot more to this but I feel this gives a lot more context so people can understand a little more about the history of my Titans.
Not a comic book character. Instead, this is a newer horror villain I've been working on & am developing/refining the backstory for him. I want to keep things relatively straightforward with him & he's inspired by the more brute strength-esque slasher villains like Michael Myers & Jason Voorhees.
I do want to play on the "is he or isn't he" idea of him being supernatural, but in a similar way to that of the original Halloween where it's more subtle and not as overt (and ridiculous) as many of the sequels. More than anything, just like with the Tabitha Shivani character I want to create an environment that fully indulges in the horror that we love while tossing away the unnecessary and also the overused tropes many of us have grown tired of.
As this design indicates in comparison of other pics I've posted of Mr. Graves, the character will go on a pretty wild ride. I know on the surface he may seem derivative of Jason Voorhees, but he'll be extremely different. The parental aspects are similar, but Victor is a lot closer to normal than Jason ever was in regards to his original appearance and mental faculties. He also talks, so there's that as well.
By the time this upgrade to his appearance and power level occur, he'll essentially be an unofficial Titan. Not born one, per se, just one who becomes one incidentally in the face of defeat & other outside factors.
