Legends EU DTV's

I doubt Episode VII will be adapting any specific EU stories, so I was just wondering how would you bigger EU fans feel about DTV's adapting the more popular story lines? Similar to what DC has been doing with their animated features. Or even more original EU content.

I think it would be a good, and profitable idea and allow the EU to not just be retconned out of existence while numbered sequels tell original stories.

Thoughts?
