For extra weirdness Thomas F. Wilson (Biff) would've been great as Flash Thompson, Lea Thompson an excellent Gwen Stacy and Crispin Glover a perfect Harry Osborn going steadily more drug ridden and mad as the trilogy progresses...
Robert Zemeckis woulda been a very, very cool choice for director, too... When you stop to think about it the Back To The Future compatabilty is almost limitless...

Think about it though, he wouldnt play it like Doc Brown... More like His character in The West Wing for the Osborn parts and his character in Roger Rabbit for the goblin parts... A mixture of the two.

maybe you're right, Llyod can play some pretty crazy out there roles, he could probably pull it off.
