He didn't like that hairstyle either. He told a funny story on one of the talk shows that he couldn't sleep with it because it kept getting all tangled and stuff - he said "how do you women do it!!!!" He finally had his wife braid his hair before he went to bed (that must have been a sight!). On one of the talk shows when he sat down he took a clump of hair out of his jacket pocket and gave it to the host and said "I'm shedding!" (the hair was extensions). And he said the first time his dad saw him he just stared at him and said "you look like a bloody hippie!"
