The Nintendo Switch is getting another indie game. Lab Zero Games revealed it is bringing Indivisible to Nintendo’s console. 505 Games has provided additional funding and the developer has hired a programmer to begin the porting process. It will be released on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC simultaneously next year. However, the Backer Preview build will not be coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Indivisible stars Ajna, a young woman who has gained the ability to fuse with Incarnations of people after warlords attack her village. This allows her to summon them in battle and gives her access to abilities and weapons based on these additional characters. She’s also quite strong without these abilities, as she knows martial arts. She uses these new skills to travel her world and hunt down the warlords. The world exploration and battle system looks rather similar to Valkyrie Profile’s.

Indivisible will come to the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC in 2018. People who backed the game and want to switch to the Nintendo Switch version can do so by retaking the BackerKit survey to select the digital or physical collector’s edition for that platform.

Lab Zero Games released a new sizzle reel trailer for Indivisible, its upcoming RPG / platformer, at Anime Expo 2017.

Here’s an overview of the game, via Lab Zero:
Indivisible is a new RPG/platformer IP, starring Ajna (AHZH-na), a girl who sets out on a globe-spanning journey to discover the truth behind her mysterious powers. On her quest she’ll be joined by a variety of unique heroes and gain new abilities to traverse the environments and defeat the enemies they’ll encounter along the way.
Indivisible is inspired by classic platformers and RPGs, but with the unique characters and gameplay depth Lab Zero is known for.
In addition to a fresh spin on RPG gameplay, Indivisible features a deep storyline inspired by southeast Asian and other world mythologies, Lab Zero’s trademark feature-quality 2D hand-drawn animation, a lush soundtrack from legendary Secret of Mana composer Hiroki Kikuta, and an opening animation by popular anime studio Trigger.
Indivisible is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in 2018.

Publisher 505 Games and developer Lab Zero Games have released a new beta demo of Indivisible for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC to all Indiegogo backers of the upcoming action RPG, as well as a new trailer in celebration of E3 2018 next week.

The updated beta includes new and improved battle mechanics, enemies, and quests, as well as three new playable characters (plant-summoner Nuna, the gun-slinging Latigo, and boisterous pirate queen Baozhai) and the opportunity to battle a newly-created “hybrid boss,” Pindayar. Hybrid bosses switch seamlessly between strategic RPG battle and action platforming gameplay.

Backers can access the updated demo by running their previously installed backer preview demo distributed in November 2017.
Here is an overview of Indivisible, via 505 Games:
Created by Lab Zero Games, the developers behind the million-plus selling cult-favorite fighting game Skullgirls, Indivisible spans a huge fantasy world inspired by various cultures and mythologies. A classically-influenced RPG / platformer hybrid, Indivisible tells the tale of Ajna, a good-natured tomboy with a rebellious streak. Her life is thrown into chaos when her town is attacked, awakening a mysterious power in her – the ability to absorb certain individuals into her being. She embarks on a quest to confront the warlord who destroyed her home, uniting people from faraway lands along the way, and discovering new aspects of herself and her world in the process.
Indivisible is currently in development for Nintendo Switch, Steam for Windows, Mac and Linux, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and will offer English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese and Russian-language versions.
