I'm very happy about this. It's surprising and then it's not at all. With this trio back, they're gonna be unstoppable in attracting the new talent, namely cast. But this also means the strong possibility of Deakins returning as well.

I can't wait to see where the story goes next.

Pretty much just heard about this news. 2015 is an alright kind of wait. They'll get shooting next year and release it the following year.

It does seem to me that Craig will do two more, his final one with Mendes as well probably, and then hang up the PPK.

Good to have something about Bond 24 finally. We can now pace ourselves. An original story videogame, Everything or Nothing quality with voice work from Craig and co would help tide us over. Not expecting this, though.

And this news pretty much confirms Thomas Newman will be back. Which is excellent. Love his Skyfall soundtrack.

The stakes for the movie are higher now that they made 1 billion dollars.

Craig has said he'd like her back, and his opinion holds weight with the films. I wouldn't mind. I thought Skyfall was a good Bond song.

It was a song that definitely grew on me, and it did fit with the tone of the movie.

Right there with you. Casino Royale is my favorite, but Skyfall is very close second.

On the release date. The biggest fear is Craig suddenly "getting old". But I think it is the proper amount of time. Every 2 years just doesn't work for getting the best quality possible imo. If QoS had that extra year between it and CR, I don't think it would have as many problems as it does. The script was rushed for that very reason. They could have also hired an appropriate director.

I have always found CR to be very over-rated, I like the movie but I dont see this masterpiece that other people do, far from it, its good, not great. Skyfall definately lived up to the hype for me though, great film.

If there's one Bond actor that can take it, age-wise, it's Craig. Even when he looks older (his haircut in SF helped a lot), he has something to offer to the role. I have no fear whatsoever.

And CR > SF any day of the week.

I have always found CR to be very over-rated, I like the movie but I dont see this masterpiece that other people do, far from it, its good, not great. Skyfall definately lived up to the hype for me though, great film.

Casino Royale did the one thing that even Skyfall didn't do. It told a strong, mature Bond tale, without needing to wink at the camera every few minutes. Yes, it has its little nods but the film has a solid foundation and does not depend on tradition or anything else.

I like QoS. I think it is a good film, especially when you stack it against most Bond films. It is just a big come down after CR.

But outside of the first 4, OHMSS, Goldeneye, and the two other Craig films, there aren't any other Bond films I'd take over it. A lot of the time I'd take it over Goldeneye.
