I was just thinking here...and I started wondering how many autobot/decepticon leaders do we know of?

Here is the list I could think of...

I definately don't remember any of them, except for the original Prime/Megs, and then a few of the others.

Grimlock was one that surprised me, as much as he is one of my favorites.

Some are from the Japanese G1 shows, like Ginrai and Star Saber (and their opposite numbers Black Zarak and Deszarus). Others are from the comics (US and UK). Which is where you first find Shockwave in the leader role, later Bludgeon. Now Grimlock was leader of an Autobot splinter group, the Lighting Strike coalition (which was the other 4 dinobots, Ironhide, Kup, Wheeljack, and a few others), on Cybertron during the dark ages. Where Prime and Megatron disappeared into a space bridge for a few million years. Sringer lead another splinter group, the Wreckers (autobot triple changers, jumpstarters, and deluxe vehicles). The Autobots proper were under Prowl. On the con side Shockwave led the decepticons proper. While splinter groups the Ultracons and Predacons were under Ratbat and Starscream, repectively. Ultra Magnus led the re-united Autobot faction at the end of the dark ages.
