Marvel Animated Movie news?

According to Wikipedia, Marvel has no animated films set for release until 2011 which is 'Thor, Tales of Asgard'.

They do seem to be investing in animated series though:
The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes ------ Oct. 2010 on Disney XD
Thor --------------------------------------- Fall 2010/TBA
Marvel Anime ------------------------------- 2011 on G4
Ultimate Spider-man ------------------------ Fall 2011 on Disney XD

Again this is according to Wikipedia, so.................who knows.

There was also a Black Panther animated series but it was for ABC3, an Australian network, and only shown overseas.

I agree that Marvel needs to step up their animation output. Their focus seems to be live-action right now. But they could do both. And I think the animated features will show truer portrayals of the characters anyway. Don't get me wrong, I like live-action stuff. But animated features have a better tone and quality to me and lend to the escapism so much better.

My opinion?

Marvel should do more of the "Vs." type stuff. Particularly Spider-man vs. Daredevil storyline where they battle, take on the Masked Marauder, and Spidey gets blinded. Or Spider-man vs. Morbius and Manwolf.

Then there's the Hulk vs. the Thing and the FF for that matter. (Really done right.) Namor vs. the FF. Or Iron-man. The Avengers vs. the Squadron Supreme. Or the X-men.

I could go on but you get the point.
