Switch version to include all downloadable content.

5pb. is bringing its side-scrolling beat ’em up Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Overdrive to Switch via the Nintendo eShop worldwide on December 7, the company announced. It will cost 1,000 yen in Japan.


The Switch version will include all of the downloadable content released for other platforms, including playable characters Kurisu Makise from Steins;Gate and Frau Koujiro from Robotics;Notes. Four-player local multiplayer for Co-Op MOde and Battle Grounds Mode will be available at launch, and online multiplayer will be added in early 2018.
The game will support Japanese voice-overs, and Japanese, English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Simplified Chinese, and Russian text.


Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds is available now for PlayStation 4, PS Vita, PC, and Xbox 360.

5pb. has released the debut trailer for the Switch version of its side-scrolling beat ’em up Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Overdrive.
As announced last week, the Switch version will feature all of the downloadable content released for other platforms, including playable characters Kurisu Makise from Steins;Gate and Frau Koujiro from Robotics;Notes.



Four-player local multiplayer for Co-Op Mode and Battle Grounds Mode will be available at launch, and online multiplayer will be added in early 2018.




Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Overdrive is due out for Switch worldwide on December 7. It is available now for PlayStation 4, PS Vita, PC, and Xbox 360.
