I love Interstellar--I didn't know if Nolan could pull off Spielbergian sentiment (I knew the Kubrick influence would come naturally enough) but I do think Interstellar is perhaps his most emotionally effective film and even has moments of poetry to it (my goodness, the docking scene). For me if it was a little shorter and a lot less expositional (I love the ending in and of itself but don't really care for the characters explaining to me how I should interpret it) it might be my favorite Nolan.
