[Kurosawa]

Hawkman artist and long time Bob Kane ghost Sheldon Moldoff has passed away.

His work on Hawkman in Flash Comics was beautiful, and was maybe the best Alex Raymond inspired art in comics history:

He was the last living contributor to Action Comics #1.

That's sad to hear, but I am actually amazed that he was still alive. It just shows that many Golden Age guys were really young when they started working in comics.

Yeah, at age 25, Bill Finger was the old man of the Golden Age greats.
