Comics Spider-Man, which volume?

I could have sworn that we were in volume 3 of the adjectiveless book but I guess End of the Spiderverse started vol 4. Volume 2 started in 1998 in the reboot, right? When did vol 3 run? What stories did it tell? I’m confused.

I believe the series that JJ Abrams and his son wrote a few years ago is considered a volume of the adjective-less Spider-Man, for some reason. Which is odd because I think it’s not 616 canon.
