Frien of mine has them all in a cd folder in a drawer so that if he gets robbed they are less obvious - apparntly dvds are one of the most popular things to steal as they can be easily resold

I just figured that DVD Aficionado site out and think that it' really cool.

Is anyone into printing out custom covers for your DVDs? I was disappointed with some of the official covers and decided to look into it and found amazing covers that were much better than (most) official ones. Now most of my DVDs have custom covers on them instead of official ones.

Yes, I am, however Im not really sure where to find them at besides over in the fan art section of SHH. I hate the new Superman Returns 2 disc artwork, and Im going to use Barneys version.

I arrange mine with the movies alphabetically followed by the TV shows alphabetically.

I bought Evil Dead II most recently.

I often buy movies that are less than $10 (many of them are used). I'll buy movies I haven't seen before if they're $7 or less.

DVD Aficionado is the best free site i've found for my dvd list. Great site. I think my username is thedeadite there too. too lazy to get a link.

You know, I was having the same problem as you. I was searching everywhere on the internet for custom covers and hardley came up with anything. I found an excellent site that had every one of the covers I was looking for but you had to pay a donation to the site to access it. I was not interested in paying anything so I passed it up. But I finally caved in and paid the $20 for it about a month ago and I am so happy that I did. The site had multiple great covers for every movie that I searched. I couldn't be more happy about it. Here is the link to the site:

I strongly suggest it if you're into custom covers.

wow, awsome. Thanks man.

I've got lots of dvds but I've never really counted them to see how many I actually have. I just buy them watch them a few times & then put them back but then I occasionally pull them back out & watch them again after awhile. I don't rent movies anymore I just buy on impulse before seeing the movie to know if I will like it or not so in the end I am sometimes stuck with alot of stuff I don't actually like. Like momma said, If I were to sell them I would only get a fraction of the money out of them that I have invested in them.

Great stuff.

But you need Get Carter. Seriously.

Yeah, Get Carter is really good. I will have to buy it.

Mine sit in a few cardboard boxes on the floor.

I stopped counting past about 40 DVD's. I could care less how many I have. I assume its around 110-130. I arrange them by genre. If I feel like a comedy, I will look through my comedies and pick one out, and so on.
