This was one of the first stories I ever read with Doctor Doom. It was in a Spidey mag that had 3 different comics. I was young at the time, but I thought Doom was one of the coolest villains with his arsenal, as well as the way he tore Spidey's costume to shreds in a matter of seconds. Plus, who better than JRJR to illustrate such a battle?

You were young when that came out??? That must mean I'm REALLY old. I had to have been at least 18 or so. This issue came out while I was on my relaunch hiatus. I didn't come back on board until Jenkins took over.

Sorry, but JRJr or no JRJr, this has nothing on the first Spidey-Doc Doom story I read, which was the classic Amazin#350 with David Michelinie writing and Erik Larson doing the art. Never seen Spidey get his ass handed to him so badly.
