THE MULTIVERSERS: THE RPG
GMs: Johnny Blaze; Master Bruce; Byrd Man

Premise
There exist billions of universes, each one as different as it is the same. And every single one of these universes are in danger. An unknown molevolent force tampers with each reality, shifting them off their intended courses for some unknown sinister purpose. Thus the multiversal guardian, the entity known only as Chronos, has taken it upon itself to call upon a group of Chosen champions. These heroes, plucked from their world, will be given the charge of traveling the multiverse and fixing the wrongs caused by this unknown force.

But they are not alone. The dark power meddling with reality is aware of Chronos' actions. As such, it has hand picked a band of it's own henchmen from the myriad of realities to serve it as it's Agents. Their purpose is a simple one, further the goals of their evil master and stop the Chosen at all costs...

RUNDOWN

 • Characters to be played may be pre-existing characters, or they may be custom-created characters. Though information for custom characters MUST be much more detailed and thoughtout. As always, the GMs have the right to refuse any character if they deem them too powerful or the like. Custom-created character must not be a god, deity, or beings such as SHAZAM or Tyrant. As for custom-created characters, think of them as Elseworlds or What If... characters. I.E. similar to the original copy, yet different.
 • Mission ideas are gladly appreciated, in order to keep up a productive work environment. But don't get pissy if your idea does not get used. **** happens, deal with it and move on.
 • There are three types of characters in this game: CCs, or Chosen Characters (the five characters chosen by Chronos to help fix reality), ACs, or Agent Characters (the five characters chosen by the evil destroying reality to thwart the Chosen and further it's scheme), and MRCs, or Mission-Related Characters (PC played characters specific to the world the Multiversers are currently on). All require applications to play as, but each have different duties and rules. You can play as a Chosen or Agent until you die, retire, or mods say otherwise; but as an MRC, your lifespan as that given character is only as long as the mission.
 • Once the given mission is over, MRC players can fill out a new application, in accordance to the mission info. Misison info and MRC info must be related.
 • You are your character, so act like it. Talk like them, use their dialouge. Do not exaggerate your powers, or pop-up here and there without explanation. BE Your character.
 • Your first post if you are a Chosen or an Agent WILL be on your homeworld and it should end with you getting whisked away. Once all Chosen and Agents have gotten their first posts out of the way, the missions can begin.
 • Missions will be given out by Chronos and dark power to the Chosen and Agents of Chaos respectively at their home base. Both teams will then be transported to the specific world to carry out their work.
 • Players may choose to play either a Chosen or an Agent, but not both. However, they may take up a second MRC character if they so wish.
 • If you want to take part in this, just fill out an app and your name and character will appear on the roster, pending approval...

RULES
 • This is a working environment, so you can travel to different places using your powers or vehicles. Don't miraculously pop up unless you're a teleporter or such.
 • Don't do anything RANDOM like chopping off board user's heads or what not, unless your a villain chopping off inanimate victims heads, then whatever, go with it, as long as it's not technically RANDOM. Don't kill people without reason. Don't randomly kill NPC's. Do NOT kill other Player Characters unless specifically asked by the player to do so.
 • You know your weaknesses and strengths, what you can do or can't. Hellboy will lose against Thanos one on one, but may be able to use his allies to help him out or he can run away.
 • If there is a problem between you and another player, or if you have question's please talk to one of the Gamemasters The list of Gamemasters is at the top of this post.
 • There should be MINIMAL cussing and swearing in posts. There will be NO By-passing the censors. This is a Hype rule, and NO exceptions will be made for the RPG.
 • No obscene topics!
 • Do NOT criticize another poster’s character. We are not all as skilled as Gaiman or Shakespeare. Constructive criticism is okay as long as it is not offensive. This rule applies even if a poster asks for feedback.
 • The Game Masters have the final say in matters of character acceptance. You are welcome to alter the character to make it less powerful or more creative, but arguing with the Game Masters is not productive, not to mention something that you will not win. This is a game, let it be fun.
 • People who disobey these rules, some more major than the others, will get BOOTED by the Game Masters. Further problems will cause HYPE! Mods to get involved, which usually leads to user bannings, or the more severe IP Address banning.

Character You Would Like To Play (list codename along with real name if applicable): Tommy Oliver, the White Ranger

Powers:
When unmorphed, he has no powers, despite being an exceptional martial artist. Morphing gives him enhanced speed, strength and reflexes. In addition, he has the ability to call forth the White Tigerzord, carries the talking tiger saber Saba, and has an energy shield he wears on his chest.

Character Type (Chosen or MRC and are they a Hero or Villain):
Chosen Hero

Universe History (give a brief description of the comic universe your character hails from):
Tommy resides in Angel Grove, California, a town known for its giant monster invasions, and for having its own needed super hero team. The rest of the world is normal, with most attacks focusing on just Angel Grove.

Character History (give as detailed a rundown on your character's history and origin as possible):
Shortly after the first appearance of the Power Rangers, Tommy moved to Angel Grove. He was recruited by the evil witch Rita Repulsa, to be her anti-Ranger. She gave Tommy the Dragon Coin, to give him Green Ranger powers, and control over the Dragonzord. Originally Tommy fought against the other Rangers, but was soon turned back to the side of good, and became the sixth Power Ranger. Soon after, however, Rita used a magic candle to strip Tommy of his Green Ranger powers, and the power coin was transfered to his friend Jason, the Red Ranger. For a temporary time, Tommy's powers were replaced, via a connection through the Rangers sage leader, Zordon. The Green Ranger powers were lost for good when the evil Lord Zedd, Rita's successor and later, husband, captured Tommy and used his power to fuel a band of evil Rangers. Tommy destroyed the crystal that had had his powers transferred into it, destroying the Green Ranger power forever. Tommy was upset by the fact that he could no longer help his friends, and took refuge at a lake house owned by his uncle. Unbeknownst to the other Rangers though, Tommy had disappeared from there, as Zordon was creating a new connection to the morphing grid. Tommy reemerged as the White Ranger, and the new leader of the Power Rangers.

Personality (give a detailed description of your character's personality):
Tommy's loyal to his friends, and courageous in the face of danger. He's a strong leader, who can take charge in times of crisis. He can be a bit absent minded at times, forgetting things on occasion.

It was a bright sunny day in Angel Grove, California, like most others in the sprawling oceanside town. As Tommy Oliver walked through the park, his thoughts strayed.

Just a year ago he was a normal high school student. A stellar martial artist, but a normal boy. Then his family had moved to Angel Grove and everything changed. For months now, he has been protecting Angel Grove against the evil minions of Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd, alongside his teammates, the Power Rangers.

Jason, Zach, Trini and Billy were his best friends, but Kimberly, the Pink Ranger. Well, she was something more. He had known from the moment he had seen her. She was the reason he was in the park right now, she had wanted to meet him at the lake.

Shaking out of his thoughts he saw her, in a pink bikini, standing by a paddle boat. Tommy strolled up to her and put his arm around her waist.

"Gorgeous as usual, Kim."

"Thanks, Tommy. I was hoping we could take a boat out."

Behind them was a familiar popping sound, and Tommy's shoulders drooped in exasperation.

"Ah man. Why now?"

"Because Zedd hates us?"

"...Point taken."

Tommy and Kimberly turned around, face to face with six of Zedd's putty patrollers.

Approved I guess. But why would you want to bash Midget Bodybuilders?

That's a pretty cool pic of the White Ranger.

What the hell!? I wrote this! This was in my comic that I then put into my Asteroid-Man arc.

Not really because this RPG originated before or perhaps still barely active you join SHH as I recall. It died at one point, but it was one of the originals. It is just revived and slightly altered. :oldrazz:

Character You Would Like To Play (list codename along with real name if applicable): Batman (Bruce Wayne), of Earth 2

Powers (be as specific as you can): No superhuman powers. Batman disciplined himself to the point of physical human perfection, becoming an adept fighter, a fast thinker, and among one of the world's greatest detectives. Also inheriting a vast fortune, well above many of the people in his world, he has used his wealth to build up an arsenal of advanced and custom gadgetry, usually consisting of a 'bat' motif in some form. This extends from his hideout in the vast sanctions of The Batcave, to his vehicles such as the Bat-Gyro, The Batplane, and The Batmobile.

Character Type (Chosen, Agent, or MRC and, if they are a MRC, are they a Hero or Villain): Chosen, Hero.

Universe History (give a brief description of the comic universe your character hails from): In 1938, at the peak of the technological age of science and wonders, the first superhumans appeared in America. From the Superman of Cleveland, and later Metropolis, to The Flash of Central City, The Wonder Woman of Themyscaria, and down to the Green Lantern of Gotham, a new age of heroes, and ultimately villians, would shake the foundations of a stunned and fearful world of lawlessness. Fighting their fight all the way through World War II, and onwards, the costumed heroes that had won over the world eventually joined to form The Justice Society Of America, and later The Justice League, paving the way for a new generation of defenders in the name of Truth and Justice. It is now the 1970's, and many active heroes have been retired, or suceeded by their proteges. But some still remain the icons of their time, as the population of villians and criminal masterminds slowly decrease.

Character History (give as detailed a rundown on your character's history and origin as possible): The first Batman of this time was actually a young Thomas Wayne, when he attended a charity fundraiser costume ball dressed in what would ultimately become the physical inspiration for his son's crimefighting look. But during the party, Thomas was taken captive by gangsters, and taken to their hideout, where their boss, Lew Moxon, was suffering from an injury that required Doctor Wayne's aide. Thomas aided, but then sold out the gang and testified against Moxon, making sure he went to prison for his times. Moxon vowed revenge, and was never to be released. But his impact would be long felt, through Gotham City's history.

Years later, as Thomas, Martha, and their son Bruce Wayne travelled down the streets of Gotham on a nightly walk, a mugger came out of the darkness and robbed them, shooting both adults in the process and effectively ending their lives. Young Bruce, witness to this event, was forever scarred, as his heart lusted for vengeance against not just the mugger in question, but all of criminal society. Vowing on his parents' graves that he would commence a neverending war on crime, Bruce Wayne metaphorically ceased to be, leaving in the boy's place a fierce and ruthless avenger of the night.

Donning a makeshift circus costume while still a teenager, the smart and eager Bruce used what would eventually become the Robin identity to save a man from a pack of gangsters. Unknown of the boy's identity, the man was revealed to be a detective named Harvey Harris, who thanked the boy by agreeing to teach him all that he knew. This included a rapidly growing arsenal of martial arts, self defense, and criminlogy practices. When Harris died, Bruce abandoned the Robin identity, and went onto college, with a degree in criminal law, intending to become a policeman or a lawyer. But when learning that the justice system was far too leniant on criminals than Bruce felt it should've been, he realized he needed to work outside of it to make good on the promise to his parents.

Dropping out of school and travelling the world to enhance his skills, Bruce eventually returned to Gotham, but still lacking what he needed to instill fear and panic into the self described 'superstitious and cowardly lot' of Gotham City's criminal element. But that all changed, when a stray bat flew into his study, startling Wayne into realizing that his own fear could be used against them. Remembering his father's one time costume used to take down Lew Moxon, Wayne designed a similar costume and gadgetry, and became the grim figure of the night known only as The Bat-Man.

Throughout the years of his crimefighting career, Batman has arisen from being a common vigilante, to a feared force, even coming upon legendary status within his protected home of the once crime-infested city of Gotham. Taking on a young ward, Robin, The Boy Wonder, early into his career, Batman and Robin have fought against some of Gotham's most colorful criminal masterminds, such as The Penguin, The Riddler, and Batman's own archenemy in The Joker. But as the years went by, Wayne realized that he was getting too old to carry on his mission, and handed over the Batman mantle to the now adult Dick Grayson, settling down with Selina Kyle, formerly the criminal known as Catwoman. The two married, and have a young daughter, Helena, which Bruce, Selina, and their houseaid Alfred Pennyworth now raise, as Grayson fights alongside Bruce as The Batman and Commisioner Bruce Wayne, respectively.

Little does Bruce know, however, that the original Batman will soon be needed once again.

Personality (give a detailed description of your character's personality): At first a cold and calculated avenger, posessing no moral value towards criminals, Batman has matured over the years, eventually taking an oath not to kill or use firearms. His days as Batman have left a grim side to him, but he has become a much nicer and rell rounded man, due in part to raising a family with Selina. However, there is a seriousness to him, as he posesses the same hatred for criminals and lawlessness that started his mission many years ago.

Speech Color and Font (actually say what color and font you are going to use, don't just say "like this". It makes it a lot easier to add you to the roster this way): Century Gothic, Bold, Navy

What can you bring to this game: The 'BOP!', 'ZOW!', and 'BIFF!' factor so many RPG's lack. :oldrazz: I also like to think I'm somewhat of an expert on Batman's post-crisis history, so playing him as a pre-crisis crimefighter should be an interesting challenge that I intend to share with all of you along the way.

Bring on the campyness. :o

After gathering a squad of Nazi occultists and demons, a strike force was sent into America and greatly devastated the American armies. The strike force was key in capturing the atomic bomb from the Americans, which was then used to destroy the rest of the American armies and force Russia to surrender. After being trained personally by Hitler for three months in the ways of Nazism, he sent Höllejunge as the lead of a strike force into America. Once personally seizing control or the Manhattan Project, the Nazis destroyed the last operational military base with “Little Boy“. “Fat Man” was dropped on Moscow, forcing the Russians to surrender. The sky was black as pitch as the cloaked figure walked swiftly along. The ancient cathedral was a crumbling pile of rubble with a single glowing lantern in the middle of the floor. The cloaked figure walked towards the lantern, the dried mud crumbling under its boots. The very ground seemed to hiss under his step.
“Höllejunge,” came the hiss from the figure holding the lantern.
“<Give me the Lantern of Hecate, Balshaph, my time here is short,>“ Höllejunge said. The lantern swung showing the hideously bulbous face of the necromancer Balshaph.
“<It is mine demon. I only came here to deliver the message of the Ogdru Jahad. You must give them the Hand of Doom, Hellboy, before midnight on the 31st of October,> croaked Balshaph.
“<Or what?>“ Höllejunge hissed.
“<There will be dire consequences,>“ Balshaph said. Höllejunge reached into his cloak and pulled The Aryan from beneath his cloak shooting Balshaph between the eyes. The dead body fell backwards dropping the Lantern of Hecate. Höllejunge quickly grabbed it before it touched the floor.
“<There is nothing in Hell more dire than my wrath,>“ the figure said, before walking into the night, lit by the lantern.

Character You Would Like To Play (list codename along with real name if applicable): Artemis Entreri

Powers (be as specific as you can/If you copy/paste this information from another website, link back to it, or it is considered plagiarism and is not allowed): None; Artemis is a tactical master, taking every advantage offered him and seeking to create more. Artemis is also a very fast learner. Even if he observes a particular combat maneuver just once or twice, he is able to adapt it to his choice of weapons and duplicate it effectively in battle (these tend to be Drizzt's maneuvers, their styles and skill level being so similar). He is also excellent at improvising; he can use his surroundings to excellent effect, when he would otherwise be at a severe disadvantage. Artemis is also a consummate warrior, combining his ambidexterity, thieving training, and warrior's weapon skills to be one of the most dangerous swordsmen in the Realms. Few men indeed could have so repeatedly crossed blades with Drizzt Do'Urden and lived to tell of it. He specializes in a two-weaponed fighting style with the use of a magical dagger and longsword, equalling Drizzt in fighting capability.

Artemis weilds a magical vampiric dagger with a gem-studded hilt. The dagger possesses the ability to suck the life force of the victim and use it to heal the wielder. The more sinister portion of the blades power is its ability to feed on the victim's very soul, thus destroying the victim entirely.
Entreri also weilds a longsword of fine quality and craftsmanship.

Character Type (Chosen, Agent, or MRC and, if they are a MRC, are they a Hero or Villain?): Agent of Chaos

Universe History (give a brief description of the comic universe your character hails from/If you copy/paste this information from another website, link back to it, or it is considered plagiarism and is not allowed):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faer%C3%BBn

Entreri hails from the port city of Calimport in the sword & sorcery fantasy world of Faerûn, a fictional subcontinent, the primary setting of the Dungeons & Dragons world of Forgotten Realms. It is the western part of an unnamed supercontinent quite similar to real-world Afro-Eurasia. It is set on the planet Toril. Other parts of this supercontinent include Kara-Tur (original setting of the D&D Oriental Adventures campaign setting), and Zakhara (home to the Arabian Nights setting Al-Qadim). Maztica, home of a tribal, Aztec-like civilization is far to the west, across the Trackless Sea. The subterranean regions underneath Faerûn are the Underdark.

Faerûn is comparable to Western Europe during the late Middle Ages. Gunpowder (here called smoke powder and different in its composition from historical gunpowder) is starting to make an appearance, but much of the armament is still dominated by swords, spears, bows, and the like. Most of the population consists of farmers, organized somewhat loosely in a semi-feudal system. There are also a number of notable cities, and trade between nations is common, comparable to the Renaissance era. Likewise, there are regions where more barbaric tribes and customs persist.

The great equalizer in this setting is the presence of magic. This is subdivided into divine and arcane, with the former empowered by a god in one of the Pantheons, and the latter by peculiar rituals or innate abilities which manipulate the Weave, the source of magical energies. There are many shades of grey in this mixture, with the societies containing both good-natured magic practitioners and those with a decidedly evil bent.

Some speculate that traditional firearms will never enjoy a great success in the Realms, since magic can generally accomplish everything that explosives can, but more effectively. The only advantage of smoke powder seems to be that it can be used by non magic-users, which represent the vast majority of the population.

Faerûn is also home to a number of non-human creatures of varying degrees of civilization or barbarism. Among these are several different races of dwarves, gnomes, halflings and elves, as well as goblins, orcs, lizardmen, ogres, various giants, and even dragons.

Character History (give as detailed a rundown on your character's history and origin as possible/If you copy/paste this information from another website, link back to it, or it is considered plagiarism and is not allowed):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artemis_Entreri

Artemis was born in the city of Memnon in Calimshan, but traveled to Calimport with a desert caravan when he was only nine. He escaped the caravan once it arrived in the city as he learned that he was going to be sold into slavery by the wicked merchants of the caravan.

Artemis lived on the streets of Calimport after that, using his canny wits and outstanding physical qualities to carve a niche of turf for him self in one of the city’s hundreds of poor shanty towns. After several years, he was noticed by members of the Basadoni Cabal, one of the most powerful thieves’ guilds in Calimport.

He ascended the ranks of the guild quickly, again aided by his devious mind, fit body, and the underestimation of one so young by his foes. At some point after that, he left a lieutenancy in Basadoni's Cabal (or the Cabal itself was wiped out or absorbed) for employment in Pasha Pook's guild. It was this event that was to later bring him into contact with the drow ranger who would become his nemesis, Drizzt DoUrden. Artemis served Pook for an unknown number of years, until he (and many of Pook’s guild members) were sent out to search for a halfling thief named Regis who'd stolen one of a dozen rubies from the Pasha, a magical stone on a pendant able to charm those who gazed into it. Artemis eventually found Regis in the Icewind Dale area known as Ten-Towns in 1351 DR. He was spotted by the halfling, however, who again fled.

Artemis tracked Regis and his companions, as they sought the location of Mithral Hall, the dwarf Bruenor’s ancestral home. Artemis had captured the companions, friend Catti-Brie for information, use as a hostage, and as bargaining chip; Artemis intended to trade the young girl for the halfling whom he would then return to Calimport with the rubies and for a suitable punishment.

Artemis also found himself working briefly with forces of the Arcane Brotherhood, assigned the task by the wizard, Dendybar the Mottled. This union was not a calm one, and Artemis killed a warrior named Jierdan over leadership of the band. When this group caught up with the heroes in the dangerous passageways of Mithral Hall, the remainder of the Brotherhood’s forces perished and Artemis met Drizzt face to face for the first time. This clash, and several more to follow, was inconclusive, though both men grew to hate one another perhaps because they both saw the kind of man each might have become had circumstances differed. Artemis was successful in capturing Regis, and he returned the halfling to Calimport. At one point, Regis tried to escape, and Artemis removed a finger from his hand as punishment and a warning not attempt such a ploy again. Regis hoped to slow their travels enough so that his companions, who were pursuing, might catch up. Regis was later rescued and Pook’s guild all but destroyed by the actions of the heroes, although Artemis survived and disappeared into Calimport’s streets. When the halfling’s friends were set to return north, Regis said he’d remain behind and run what had been Pook’s guild. In 1357, .Regis reappeared at Mithral Hall, now the heroes home.

Actually, Artemis was using a magical mask (functioning as a hat of disguise) to appear as the halfling. Artemis had captured the real Regis and hidden him deep in the bowels of Mithral Hall. Artemis and Drizzt fought again, and finally, one seemed about to defeat the other. Drizzt left the battered Artemis for dead, though Regis later tried to finish the job the drow ranger had started.

Artemis did not die, however (at least not permanently). He was found by Jarlaxle of the Bregan Daerthe band of drow mercenaries and taken to Menzoberranzan. Jarlaxle healed him and offered to let Artemis help the drow bring down Mithral Hall and kill Drizzt once and for all. Left with little choice, Artemis agreed, though he knew the drow would likely kill him the instant he was no longer of use to them. The fact that the drow of Menzoberranzan revered Lolth, the Spider Queen did nothing to help comfort Artemis, as he’d always hated spiders. Artemis again met Drizzt and Catti-Brie, and eventually the three reached an agreement to work together and escape the drow and their city.

The plan worked, but as time passed, both men found it increasingly difficult to be in the other’s presence, so great was the enmity between them. After the journey of a week or so back to the deep tunnels beneath Mithral Hall, Artemis left the company of the human and the drow and, while no hostilities were exchanged, the fiery light in both men’s eyes said that the truce was over and if they ever met again, it would be for the final time.

Personality (give a detailed description of your character's personality/If you copy/paste this information from another website, link back to it, or it is considered plagiarism and is not allowed):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artemis_Entreri

Artemis is a professional and always has an air of control about him. Every move he makes or word he speaks is calculated to achieve a desired effect. He never allows emotions or the circumstances, no matter how dire, to master him. He tirelessly maintains himself in top condition, and constantly seeks to improve his martial skills.

Artemis is also terribly cunning, able to outthink as well as outfight his opponents. One aspect of his professionalism that is rare in a man whose business is killing is that Artemis usually never kills unless it is necessary or unless he's been hired to do so. There has been the occasional exception, where Entreri killed somebody simply because he really wanted to. On two of these occasions the victim had made the mistake of angering Artemis and provoking him. Artemis has vowed to "never leave an enemy in his wake." He does not take threats lightly. For the most part, those who are not enemies of Entreri or his allies have nothing to fear from him.

Aside from items of value that are useful in the pursuit of his ends (such as his enchanted weapons,) Entreri tends to not care about, or even to actively disdain, wealth and material luxuries. is part of Entreri's outlook on life to sublimate his urges and desires; he tends to view them as weaknesses. He tends to hold the view that living in luxury will 'soften' him. He dislikes intoxicants and drugs because they cloud the mind; only on very rare occasions has he ever relaxed enough to imbibe even moderate amounts of alcohol, and then only in very secure surroundings. He only rarely indulged his sexual urges in the past, both because he viewed the inability to sublimate his desire as weakness and because of the vulnerability inherent in sexual, and particularly romantic, relationships.

Entreri despises serving other individuals. He values his independence highly (and, of course, trusts virtually no one) and tends to views serving another as little better than being a slave to that person.

Speech Color and Font (actually say what color and font you are going to use, don't just say "like this". It makes it a lot easier to add you to the roster this way): Dark Slate Gray, Bold, Franklin Gothic Medium

Like a ghost in the darkness, Entreri moved about the hallway of the old mansion unseen, his black cloak pulled tightly around him. He made no sound as he darted from shadow to shadow, his hands resting comfortably on the hilts of his weapons. Entreri froze suddenly and spun behind a nearby statue of a beautiful elf maiden as a door in front of him creeked open.

Entreri's eyes narrowed as the guard closed the door and walked down the hallway towards him. Entreri tightened the hood of his black cloak around him and clung to the shadows, and the oblivious guard walked right on by. When the guard had passed well enough, Entreri sprang back into action and made his way to the door at the end of the hallway. Running his fingers along the doorjam, Entreri began his search.

Artemis scoffed and shook his head. No traps.

The man's either extremely brave, or a fool, he thought to himself.

The assassin calmly placed his ear to the door and listened. He could hear talking inside. One voice he recognized as his target, the fat merchant Silias who had dared to cross Pasha Giram. The other Entreri did not recognize, and it really didn't matter. There were two of them againt the one of him.

They stood no chance.

Entreri grabbed the handle and gently gave it a turn. Not locked.

With one hand on his jeweled dagger, Entreri turned the doornob fully and burst into the room.

The merchant Silias sat behind a large desk counting coin while discussing business with a man in gray robes.

Entreri cursed under his breath. A wizard. How he hated spellcasters.

Both men turned to see who it was that was intruding on their business, and the eyes of Silias went wide with horror.

"You", the merchant uttered in a hushed tone of fear.

"Yes, me", replied Entreri in a cold, forceful monotone as his gaze pierced the eyes of the merchant. A gaze that sent shivers down the spines and froze the blood of even the hardiest of men.
Without another word, Artemis Entreri unsheathed his weapons and burst into action...

Approved.

Heh, it's funny, but Grigori was one of the characters I was considering. :woot:

Corporal Hal Jordan / The Green Lantern

Powers (be as specific as you can/If you copy/paste this information from another website, link back to it, or it is considered plagiarism and is not allowed):
Corporal Jordan possesses a power ring capable of making the wearers thoughts come to life in the form of solid light constructs. The ring's power source lasts 24 hours, at the end of which it must be recharged by reciting the Green Lantern oath. The power ring is considered by some to be the most powerful weapon in the galaxy. However, it draws on it's wearer's willpower and requires immense focus and strength to use.

Character Type (Chosen, Agent, or MRC and, if they are a MRC, are they a Hero or Villain):
Chosen Hero

Universe History (give a brief description of the comic universe your character hails from/If you copy/paste this information from another website, link back to it, or it is considered plagiarism and is not allowed):
When the planet Krypton was destroyed, kryptonian scientist Jor-El sent his only son, Kal-El, to the planet Earth in an effort to save him. Crash-landing in a Ukranian collective-farm, Kal-El was found by Soviet workers. He becomes a hero of the Soviet Union, Superman the Comrade of Steel.

Character History (give as detailed a rundown on your character's history and origin as possible/If you copy/paste this information from another website, link back to it, or it is considered plagiarism and is not allowed):
Corporal Hal Jordan is a former Prisoner of War. Suffering through physical torture beyond imagination and being starved by his captors and forced to eat anything from insects to rodents, his years as a prisoner forged the will that would make him an ideal Green Lantern. To paraphrase from Superman: Red Son, Jordan spent his days in the prison camp imagining himself building a massive execution camp where he killed his captors. If it would take three hours to dig a hole in real-time, Jordan would imagine every step of it. If it would take two weeks to install gas-pipes, Jordan spent two weeks building every last detail in his mind. He even took coffee breaks. After some years, he had constructed something the size of multiple football-fields in his head and ,during what Jordan himself described as the happiest day of his life, he mentally executed every last one of his captors.
Some years later, Jordan was recruited by scientist and soon-to-become President of the United States Lex Luthor to wield a mysterious extra-terrestrial power ring that endowed the wearer with amazing powers. Jordan and his fellow ring-wielders, dubbed The Green Lantern Marine Corps, were sent on a mission to take down the Comrade of Steel, Superman.

Personality (give a detailed description of your character's personality):
Jordan is very much a military man. His experience as a POW has made him a very steely and intense person, and he has a very dark and morbid sense of humor. As brazen as he is powerful, Hal Jordan more often than not gets into a battle of egos with his superiors.

Speech Color and Font (actually say what color and font you are going to use, don't just say "like this". It makes it a lot easier to add you to the roster this way):
System, Green font for Hal Jordan. Lucida Console, light-green for the power ring.

Sample Post (write a sample post as your character that is at least 4 medium-sized paragraphs long and contains at least 1 line of dialogue in the style you plan on playing your character in):

Corporal Hal Jordan lay on his bunk, rows of identical ones on each side. Resting his head against the wall, he chuckled to himself as a tiny green woman, no bigger than his thumb, danced on his chest. The woman smiled and blew him a kiss.

"Heh. This is one mighty handy contraption. That's the last dime I ever need to spend on a girly-magazine."

Suddenly a voice broke Jordan's concentration and the woman began to fade from his mind, and his chest.

"Corporal Jordan, that ring is not a toy." the cold voice barked at him.

Shuffling off the bed and to his feet, Jordan looked to the doorway and didn't even try to hide his frustration at the visitor. He really didn't like the guy, he had no problem admitting.

"Yes, Mr. Luthor. Just doing some practicing before the big fight." Jordan said with feigned respect as he folded his arms and raised his chest.

Luthor sneered at Jordan. "Unless you intend on taking Superman down with a half-naked girl, then I think you better stick to the plan."

Jordan rolled his eyes and gave a half laugh. "Yeah, I remember. Box within a box within an infinite amount of boxes. No problem." Jordan raised his hand and made a fist, only raising his ring-finger in a veiled attempt to give his superior the finger. "With this little baby on my hand and the GLM Corps behind me, that commie doesn't stand a chance."

Approved, Sensei! I was thinking of playing Red Son Hal myself. My app will be up shortly.

Approved, Sensei! I was thinking of playing Red Son Hal myself. My app will be up shortly.

Thanks a bunch! I went through a lot of character but my desire to finally play a GL overcame my interest in any other character. I actually had planned on applying to be an Agent, and having my character be Earth-3's Power Ring.

But then I remember Red Son Hal, and became so excited that, if you had applied for him, I would have hunted you down. :cmad::woot:

So wait, could I apply for Spider-Man?

616 or Ultimate, no.

Any alternate universe versions that can't be played anywhere else are what we're looking for in this 'un.

A few things in the app might be a little off, been a long while since I read Supreme Power (I've only read a few issues, I have the others on my compputer though) so I'm just going by memory.

Multiversers Application:

Character You Would Like To Play (list codename along with real name if applicable): Mark Milton/Hyperion (Supremeverse)

Powers (be as specific as you can):

Hyperion possesses superhuman strength, stamina, speed and durability. His senses are also greatly enhanced, including allowing him to perceive the entire electro-magnetic spectrum. He also has atomic vision which is quite similar to heat vision.

Character Type (Chosen, Agent, or MRC and, if they are a MRC, are they a Hero or Villain): Chosen.

Universe History (give a brief description of the comic universe your character hails from):

The earth Hyperion lands upon by chance isn't much different from ours, normal people doing normal jobs and living normal lives; that is until Hyperion came along, people started popping up around the globes with amazing powers, from super speed to incredible intellect and even people that could bounce bullets off of their chest without even feeling them. The American Government has it's fingers in alot of pies, somehow winning the super arms race without even doing a thing, except what happens when superheroes go rogue? What happens when one of their precious weapons starts saying 'No'? Hyperion's rebellion against the government shocked the world, it also alerted them to the fact that they were no longer alone, that there were other planets out there, that there was life.. and that, that scared them. A paranoid and dangerous world with more and more superpowered humans turning up every week, tensions running high.. it could only end one way, in blood.

Character History (give as detailed a rundown on your character's history and origin as possible): Mark Milton is not from Earth, he's from somewhere else, but not long after landing upon the Earth he was found by an American couple and taken into their care; however he didn't stay there for very long as he was tracked down by American scientists and taken into their custody, immediately becoming aware that he wasn't human and that he had far from human abilities, a few years down the line he became known as "Hyperion" to the public and something of a public protector, but soon came to question his the role he played in the world and being used as a pawn by the government. He went rogue, but the government told the world the truth, that Mark Milton was in fact an alien, this coupled with several other events caused Milton to go over the edge and smash into the arctic circle, causing massive shockwaves across the world and leaving only a warning, that they leave him alone and stay out of his life. or else.

Personality (give a detailed description of your character's personality):

Once upon a time Mark Milton was a patriotic man, he always knew he was different from others, but he had never understood why; he had lead a sheltered and very innocent life, being taught only what the government wanted him to be taught and not allowed to come into contact with several of life's vices. Upon breaking free of the government's influence, he starts to act upon the impulses he never had the chance to in his younger life, he is inspirational, passionate and intelligent but impulsive; he rushes into things without thinking about them, putting himself first most of the time, however stepping up to the challenge whenever innocent lives are at stake. Despite all this, he feels very alone in the world, not knowing where he's from, not knowing whether there are others like him, knowing that he will never truly be accepted anymore.

Speech Color and Font (actually say what color and font you are going to use, don't just say "like this". It makes it a lot easier to add you to the roster this way): 3 Bold Verdana Red

What can you bring to this game:

I can bring some much needed "aojsojgosjgoj" and some "asomfaohgeneg" a few good plots, I hope. I also hope that I can convey Hyperion in a way which will, not only interest, but intrigue the reader at the same time. Wait a second, screw this.. how about some beer and porn? Will that do? :o

Do you know how to post pictures on the Hype! Boards: Yeah.

Sample Post (write a sample post as your character that is at least 4 medium-sized paragraphs long and contains at least 1 line of dialogue in the style you plan on playing your character in):

They think I can't hear them, they sneak up here in their 'silent' helicopters and dive in freezing waters, thinking that would be enough to get around my senses; but it's not, far from it, they'll have to try alot harder if they want to do that. As I stand up from the small mound of snow I had found myself sitting on and turn towards them, they gasp loudly.

"I think you had better turn around before I make you gentlemen, don't you?"

The most senior of them gulped slightly and stepped forward, pointing his gun towards me and speaking nervously, I can tell he's the oldest. He smells old. The rest of his so called troops look even more nervous than he does, they don't want to be here, they know all about me.. what I can do.

"Mark Milton, I have authorization from the United States Government to detain and bring you back to American soil. Do not make this any harder th-"

He steps towards me and ***** his weapon as he laughs, which almost makes me smile, I speed towards him and grab him with one hand, lifting him high into the air effortlessly. He tries to struggle but soon realises it's useless, his troops don't even take a step to help him, so much for loyalty.

"Did you not hear me? I won't repeat myself again, leave.. or I'll send you home myself. In pieces."

I place him down and he gulps, throwing his weapon on the floor and turning away, marching off with his troops. It's going to be a very long, cold walk for them, but the cold doesn't bother me at all, after all.. I'm not human.

No.. I'm not human.

But I am alone.
