Civil War Theories and rumors that turned out to be baloney (Spoilers)

The two years leading up to this movie were a rather fun period of theories and rumors.

I thought with the release, it'd be fun to look back on the popular or prominent theories and rumors that turned out to be completely bogus.

First up: Daredevil, Punisher, and the Agents of SHIELD would totally be in this one.

Was there ever rumor that the tv franchise would be in civil war ?? Don't think i ever saw it. Their participation is in doubt even in Infinity war but there's hope as the Russos were at least considering it when asked that question in interviews.

That's why I specified rumors and theories. On this forum alone we had several threads about Daredevil and the Punisher joining the cast.

[blackout]It was long rumored that cap 3 was supposed to be titled fallen son. Obviously , the speculation of cap dying and bucky taking over has been there for a while.
