Top 10 Favorite Films Ever.

This top ten stuff is bothering me. I don't think it's possible. So here's my Top 20:

Seven Samurai
The Empire Strikes Back
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Shaun of The Dead
Spider-Man 2
Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers
Real Genius
Evil Dead II
Pulp Fiction
Brazil
Rocky
Fight Club
Dead Alive
Kung Fu Hustle
Big Trouble In Little China
This Is Spinal Tap
Snatch
Oldboy
Dr. Strangelove
Army of Darkness

hmmm Top 10 is hard but I'll give it a go.

1. Empire Strikes Back
2. Batman Begins
3. Gattaca
4. The Rocketeer
4.5. Clerks
5. Signs
6. Baraka
7. Memphis Belle
8. The Talented Mr. Ripley
9. Human Traffic
10. Children of Men

Clerks needs to be in here somewhere.

Just after looking at some of the other posts here I wanted to add

11. Lock Stock and 2 Smokin' Barrels
12. Shaun of The Dead
13. American Psycho
14. American Beauty
15. Fight Club
16. Fellowship of the Ring
17. V for vendetta
18. Memento
19. To Kill a Mockingbird
20. The Crow

I'm seeing other peoples lists and there is so many movies I love. It's just ain't possible to categorize them into a top 10 or 20. But I think I put together a nice list.

Maybe a top 50 would be better... or maybe if everyone only nominated one film, and it had to be different from the choices already made by others.

In no real order:

American Beauty
Dr. Strangelove or How I learned to Stop Worrying & Love The Bomb
Closer
A Prarie Home Companion
The Big Lebowski
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Pulp Fiction
Fight Club
Requiem For A Dream
Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas

And although I need some time and more viewings, I have a feeling that The Fountain will eventually be somewhere in that list(perhaps edging out Requiem for a Dream, since I like a variety of work by artists on my top 10).

i got dragged to see closer, thinking it would be a chik flick, and I left being the only one who really enjoyed it, pre-ordered the DVD then watched it again right away. Really captures the emotion well.

The cyber sex between Jude and Clive is classic.

My fav bits are the really depressing bits, like when julia roberts leaves clive owen, I know exactly how his mind was working, and twas captured brillitantly, tis one of my fav films from that year(cinema wise)

Okie Vampire. :D

Do you have some kind of fetish with me? Not that I mind, any pblicity is good publicity,.......I think:huh:

What are you publicising?

Yeah, Closer is the best there is. I saw it sneaking in with a friend of mine and it was the last time I saw him before he died, so it means even more to me.

I'd have to think about the rest....but I know for sure that my top 2 are:

1. Batman Begins
2. Casino Royale

I still haven't seen Casino Royale. :(

Dawn of the Dead
Little Shop of Horors
Predator 2
Trekkies
Trekkies 2
The Exorcist
The Empire Strikes Back
Ghostbusters
Big Trouble in Little China
The Wicker Man

You're not missing out on that much, it's good, better than the last couple of bond films, better direction and writing, but Danny Craig was a little flat:csad:

on paper, it's actually a pretty damn good concept..

people just have this super hard on for the first one for some reason.

the only problem is the 80s rendition of what the future is like, if predator 2 was remade today with the current vision of a similar future, it would rock socks...
