We've been burned by 4chan before but his guy actually posted proof he works for Marvel.

like it. Seriously. Like it.

After reading this, I was literally about to post a "potential" vision thread, obviously this is it lol

I want Vision. But I would like Ultron to play a part in the events that lead to the creation of vision. Just because it would make it personal, for him.

I take it with a huge grain of salt for 4chan trolls, but I can't say I'm opposed to the concept. But I wouldn't want it to be a one-and-done scenario; i.e., I'd want Vision (i.e., Bettany) take his rightful place as a full-scale Avenger for multiple sequels.

I wouldn't want Jarvis to BECOME Vision. Cause then what? No more Jarvis?

How likely is this to happen? Anyone want to Bettany money on it? :o

Not interested in Jarvis becoming Vision.

given that Iron Man is on the way out, there probably wouldn't have been too much Jarvis left to see.

RDJ still has at least one more Avenger film after AoU. But I keep coming back to the Extremis Armor: if he builds a version of that, or Bleeding Edge, the suit essentially becomes literally a part of Tony. It's possible that Tony won't be able to integrate Jarvis into that suit (Tony is essentially a cyborg with that armor), so morphing him/it into the physical form of Vision would be a great way to keep Bettany's voice and personality around for future Avenger films.

I prefer Visvis.

JARVIS would still be JARVIS.

However, he would now be able to take on a physical form and fight alongside Tony, or the Avengers, whenever needed.

Plus, JARVIS was never really needed to make the Iron Man armors function. Rhodey's War Machine armors and Iron Patriot armor proves that.

But again, JARVIS would still be JARVIS and would still be Tony's loyal assistant.

This too.

And based on everything that has happened, I think Extremis and Bleeding Edge may be what's next up for Tony.

Plus, an armor that lacks AI and is a literal part of Tony would make ALOT of sense when going up against Ultron, who would just as easily hack his suit and take control of him, like Vanko did to Rhodey in IM2.

Which is what I don't like. That's not who the Vision is.

I will be a bit disappointed if Ultron doesn't play a role in the Vision's creation.

I have mixed thoughts on the matter. If indeed the poster is telling the truth, it sounds like an interesting premise -- one that I will not judge until I see the film or read the screenplay.

The magic work of the night is context.

Yeah, but odds are we'll see something similar to what happened in Ultron's first appearance in the comics happen, in regards to JARVIS.

In Ultron's first appearance, he "hypnotized" Edwin Jarvis into working for him.

How I see it working in the film is, JARVIS is The Avengers' plan A in terms of dealing with Ultron. However, it blows up in their faces as JARVIS, in his initial attempt to hack Ultron, is turned and used against them, with JARVIS' knowledge of all things Stark, SHIELD, and Avengers being used to cripple the team. Furthermore, JARVIS uses Tony's resources to create a physical form for himself, and eventually Ultron and his army, while doing Ultron's bidding, as well as contain himself (and Ultron) where they can't be reached. Because knowing Tony, he would probably attempt to create a virus of some sort to take out Ultron, but it wouldn't work if they can't actually reach him via usual channels.

And of course, JARVIS would eventually be reverted and be used against Ultron.

Guys, a Vision movie can't come out for another 7 years!

Marvel's Vision: 2020.
:awesome:

But seriously, I do have my doubts that Vision will be in this.

Though hacking Jarvis seems almost inevitable.

I can see vision in this. It would be nice if wanda is turning up.

I wonder if he'll be a hot robot? That would be weird.

Anyway, I would love to see the vision.

Oh brother this reminds me of "Coulson can't die, he's too cool!" all over again.

Synthezoid my friend!

I gotta believe that if we are going to ever see The Vision in the cinematic universe, this film is the golden opportunity.

I'm crossing my fingers it will happen.

This.

I've been behind the Jarvis/Vision played by Bettany idea for years, but I'm highly sceptical of this.
