Curt Hawkins should take Drew's spot in 3MB.

Drew McIntyre should rejoin Wade Barrett, Pierre Marceau in Foreign Legion. They had good chemistry back in the indies and all three of them are in the WWE right now. Thee Drew was more entertaining back in that stable as well.

Maybe add Mason Ryan or Sheamus (If he is coming back as a heel) in the stable.

I think Van and Hunter are right about Drew being that guy Shawn talked to Vince about. I'm not going to pretend that I'm a fan, but I'm certainly willing to give him another chance. I think this is Drew's last opportunity to get over in WWE, so he better make it count.

I like Drew he would have been a good pick as a Paul Heyman guy. Now though, I think I'd like to see him and Barrett as a team. I could see him being reworked in a major player on the Smackdown brand.

That's a good idea and WWE are supposedly repacking Barrett right at the same time this Drew news comes out. A run as a team could be just what they both need.

Good to see the WWE maintain good relations with guys like Lance Storm and Perry Saturn.

I feel sorry for those ordering Battleground. You're basically paying $50+ for a Raw. The undercard just screams Raw and Smackdown quality. All you've got is Bryan/Orton, The Shield vs Cody/Goldust for storyline purposes and MAYBE Del Rio/RVD just for the recreational stuff added to it.

I think Drew McIntyre can be really good in the ring at times. It's jusr sometimes he kills matches by slowing things down at the wong time. I dunno but I get bored with him a lot. Cesaro and Orton have a slower pace too but they have enjoyable spots in their matches. Orton has the snap powerstam and rope DDT, while Cesaro has the Swiss Death and the big swing, plus their finishers. Drew McIntyre can be really good though. He just needs a few things to hook people in, whatever they may be.

Two best McIntyre matches in WWE (IMO) [YT]SJWNrzNoxuk[/YT] [YT]12zKzv4aqnk[/YT]

Of course his arguably best WWE match would be against The American Dragon. He can have a 13 minute match with a broom and it'll at least be ***1/4. :o:oldrazz::hehe:

- Despite the recent "Chosen One" teases by Drew McIntyre himself and WWE, Drew worked last night's WWE live event in Albany, New York as a member of 3MB. He teamed with Heath Slater and got pinned in a losing effort against Los Matadores.

- It's worth noting that Chris Benoit appears in two different matches on the RAW 20th Anniversary box set - a six-man tag match from the October 3rd, 2005 RAW Homecoming special and another six-man match from the March 26th, 2001 RAW and Nitro simulcast.

- Former WCW star La Parka was traveling with Cibernetico, El Texano Jr. and Pimpinela Escarlata in a charter bus to Ciudad Juarez on September 29th when they were the victims of armed robbery. Men stopped the bus, came on board with guns and threatened to kill the wrestlers unless they gave up their wallets and mobile devices. They got what they wanted, left and the four wrestlers worked a show later that afternoon.

Former TNA Knockout Tara joined VOC Wrestling Nation this week to promote her recent appearance at Legends of the Ring on October 5th. She also spoke a bit about her time in TNA Wrestling, and mentioned that a return is "out of the question."

"It wasn’t a good fit for me. I had a great run there, but it was very different from WWE. It made me appreciate WWE a lot ... I enjoy going on the road and working different towns. [At TNA] the audience wanted to get more camera time (than the talent). I ended up knowing most of the fans that went there in Orlando. Performing in Madison Square Garden is surreal. I hope some of the TNA talent that has never gotten to do that gets a chance to do it.

"[In WWE] we had Fit Finlay as a trainer and agent. He made us and molded us. He got to know what made us tick, exposed that, and there was nothing we couldn’t do. Today, the girls pick and choose what moves they want to do. If Fit Finlay was around, that wouldn’t happen. We worked stiff. We made contact."

The Diva legend doesn't think she's done with wrestling, just because she left TNA. While she currently owns and operates a very popular restaurant hot spot in Chicago, she won't rule out a return to the business.

“Never say never. I’m 42 and I’m still kicking ass and in better shape than when I was wrestling. It’s in my blood. I’m lucky that I live wrestling at my restaurant. I don’t think I’m done wrestling; I have a lot to give in terms of knowledge and helping other females.”

Get on the blower nostrils!

It's a shame that they wont use any of his singles matches like the WWE title match with HBK and Iron Man match with Triple H, but if they were gonna use a tag match with him in then surely they needed to use the epic 10 man tag from their debut.

If there's anything in the Drew stuff, then I hope he can make it work. He's got all the ingredients to be a top star, imo. For a big guy he's very athletic and agile.

If you guys are a part of the Prediction Thread

Don't forget to add the newly announced to your picks!
The Real Americans vs Khali/Santino

I hope that Punk vs. Heyman ends tonight. It's gone on too long for me. But if it goes longer my guess is that they don't want Punk to aid Bryan because he would overshadow Bryan.

However, Punk would not be such as wuss as the Big Show has been. He can just say to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon "I don't need this company, I quit."

I think that tag match has been added purely so Cesaro can do the big swing on Khali.

I have that match on an old VHS somewhere. It was during that glorious time period when WWE was barely doing anything wrong.

I don't know. Maybe he's better now than he was when he debuted, but back then he came across as a guy with low charisma and not much to offer in the ring beyond his sweet looking finisher.

They took the push meant for Dolph Ziggler at the time and gave it to Drew, with him winning the Intercontinental title. Didn't do him any good in hindsight.

Its a good thing that Triple H didn't proclaim himself WWE Champion.

They pushed him too quickly and too early, imo. They should have given him ample time to find his feet and a niche. Hopefully, if they give him another chance again, he'll be a bit more experienced and now know how to handle and tackle it better. He had some pretty good matches on Superstars prior to the debut of 3MB.

On a sidenote, he's probably one of the only heavyweights I've seen perform suicide dives and flips over the top rope to the outside since Taker, from my recollection.
