I have a question...to those who know the backstory of Black Widow - were there any other Black Widows before Natasha took on the code name? I for one, if maybe Marvel considers it, I'd like to see Vera Farmiga as a former BW...I dunno who. I hope someday she gets to be in a marvel movie. I dunno. Patrick Wilson came close to being in one before he had to drop out of Ant-Man. Anything can happen, I guess.

I think Widow was at her most interesting in TWS. I'm very happy that the Russos will be in control of her development going forward.

Hola new person here! Just joined cause I finally found a place I could geek out about Black Widow!

And a couple of questions:

Does anyone know if Scarlett is still on set filming? I keep hearing reports that BW gets arrested in the movie? Is there any proof to back that up?

Also, back at the beginning of the thread with the necklace... it looks to me like there are red and white gems in that necklace. Maybe that last gem is actually blue but the way the picture was taken makes it look green?

There's no proof about that arrested scenario. I think that came from an alleged leaked script that's already been proven to be a fake in regards to other scenes and characters.

I don't now if Scarlett is there filming now but I know she was there for at least several weeks and some of the cast have had filming beaks from Atalanta but returned. Currently most of the filming is being done on closed sets.

She's been filming scenes on the Civic Center set recently (same place where the IFID set pieces are) - they've been camped out at that set for 2 or 3 weeks now. Her stunt double was photographed there this week.

And that artwork is amazing! I love Phil Noto's stuff. If you want to read a Black Widow comic, the one he and Nathan Edmonson are doing is really worth the read.

I hope it's a big role... I do know that she was wearing the same outfit that she had in that Nigerian market set we saw last month, and many locations on the Civic Center set are possibly also a part of these Nigerian scenes. So whatever she's been filming recently there are most likely connected to the big incident that happens in Nigeria early in the movie. The only other scenes I know of that she's done are the funeral scenes.
I wish we had a better, more confirmed idea of what she'll be up to throughout the movie.
