State Your Opinion on a Character (New 52 Edition)

Rick Sr. has had some interesting stuff dine, especially in NEW FRONTIER. A good military adventure character, very old school but he can be used well.

Deadshot is just a great case of mining continuity to make a character that was ho hum when he first showed up and evolve him over time into a really interesting character. His redesign helped too. The suit with the eye piece and wrist guns is iconic. As always, I do prefer the Deadshot with a near death wish, but... characters evolve like I said. A good opponent for many a hero and a good villain to be used as an anti-hero as well. I loved him in the Task Force X episode of JLU as well as his design and presentation in GOTHAM KNIGHT. We will see what Smith brings to the table on the big screen. The costume for the Squad film looks on point to me.

Aha, the new Aqualad! I'm a lot more familiar with his excellent 'Young Justice' TV counterpart, which I know is different from the comics. I'm pretty sure I read his early appearances in 'Brightest Day' but that was a long time ago so I don't remember much.

About Aqualad

He was my favorite of all the Aqualads easily. I really want him to come back. With Marvel and DC trying so hard to cater to diversity/not be called racists or whatever the PC buzz is over this kind of stuff, why not bring this kid back while the Aquaman books are actually pretty great?

Any character voiced by Ron Perlman can't be all bad.

The last time I saw Jax-Ur in the comics, he was fighting the new Nightwing & Flamebird over in Action Comics. He was just kinda okay there.

That was in the post-Infinite Crisis period, where there was a lot of incorporating elements from the Donner films into the comics more than ever before. But in the days of TAS, I get the sense they were trying hard to steer clear of the movies and do something different, so that's why Jax-Ur essentially replaces General Zod on the show.

I was a Superman fan that never understood not just calling Jax-Ur Zod. It made no sense and was a bit infuriating.

On Aqualad. He was great on Young Justice. Barely knew him from Brightest Day but he was clearly more average kid since he was raised on land. The YJ version should be brought to the page though. Dug his powers to with the solid water weapons.

Well, hell. What else has he appeared in other than one episode of JLU? Where's that pic from? Do they go into who he is? Power set? Like...give me more to go on.

He debuted on Batman Beyond, episode "The Call" with the Future Justice League. The JLU episode came later.

Who's the artist there? That looks like its from 'Saga.'

THE INTERGALACTIC TRIBUNAL
These farters are as dumb as a brick, as annoying as a fly, and as dangerous as a fast car on a highway ready to step on a fainted person.

Wow. I have no idea who the last 4 are. I guess 2 of them are from the animated universe which I'm not overly familiar with.

Maxine Baker is one of the daughters of Buddy Baker/Animal Man.
All I know about AM is he knows he's a comic book character, cause he met Grant Morrison.

The Tribunal are bad news, their prime is nuts, the other two are fine, or became that way once prime lost his marbles and became another convict.

Conduit had potential.

See also Ruin and Preus.

I'll never know why DC always go through such extremes to shelve their Superman villains. We get it. Metallo, Parasite, Toyman, Luthor, Zod, Bizarro. Those other guys should have been used much more, especially Ruin.

Once in a while there are villains whose powers are so "out there" they seem like walking exposition. They give me a headache to read them, even if I like their story lines. That's Mirror Master for me.

Awww...my least favorite Robin, maybe Steph's run as Robin can compete.

I'm not a fan of TDKReturns, so anything from that -verse is an automatic "nuuu-oooope..."

And here I thought I was the only one who didn't care for DKR. Carrie is annoying as Robin. I prefer Stephanie to Carrie.
