The eight mystery dates would be revealed in D23 2023. I'm assuming Armor Wars is one of these mystery dates and perhaps Shang-Chi and the Return of the Ten Rings.

I would like Marvel Studios' X-Men in the summer of 2025. But I wouldn't mind if they skip the Multiverse Saga, and start phase Xeven.

Unless they faXt tracked Doctor Strange in the Madness of Dark Dimension, its phase 7.

Spider-Man Home Sick, isn't included in these maps I think, so it could join phase 5 or 6. But I think Sony is going to release a new Spidey movie in July or December 2024. They aren't waiting more than 3 years.

Shang-Chi 2 is confirmed so its either 2025 or 2026.

I hope there isn't a Thor 5. I feel like four movies for Thor is enough especially considering Tony and Steve only had 3 solo movies*. Well Civil War was basically an Avengers movie.

Marvel Studios doesnt announce the Spiderman movies on their panels. And the dates the studio sets on the calendar dont include Spidey sequels. So that leaves one MS spot open.
and Marvel Zombies was confirmed on the animation panel.

Not to mention the Inhumans and X-Men.

Ghost Rider, Inhumans, Iron Fist, Elektra, Hellcat, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Punisher were already under the MCU-adjacent shows and were used by Marvel Television as Marvel Studios probably didn't want them at the time for the movies.

The X-Men and Nova are coming, it is just a matter of when. From that list, the ones I want to see in the mcu proper are the X-Men, the Inhumans, the Silver Surfer, Elektra, Ka-Zar, Iron Fist, Tigra and Squirrel Girl. I can see Two Gun Kid being used as a gag or for comedy.

From the ones you didn't mention: Cloak & Dagger should be in the mcu.

Remove the X-Men from the list, I don't think thats a lot. Marvel Studios have already used about 90% of the major characters from the comics. The 10% left are the X-Men and its villains, Deadpool, Silver Surfer, Galactus, Doom and F4. So imo they are already scraping the bottom of the barrel now.

Which imo, some ips need to be phased out (Thor, Ant-Man, Gotg) after Secret Wars. I don't want to wait 4 years for every new X-Men film.

They could, but it would end up Phase 6 earliest anyway. I am really curious to see what those other 3 rumored Phase 6 films are now. I for sure thought Shang-Chi 2 would be one of them, but this news I do think indicates otherwise

Shang-Chi 2 not being one of mystery phase 6 films is a twist I didn't see coming.

I would be surprised if its a team or someone (Scarlet Witch) headlining their solo film for the first time. X-Men in the same year as two Avengers is too good to be true. Maybe Eternals 2. I would also be surprised if its Doctor Strange 3, given how long the gap for the previous movie was.

Disappointed that Shang-Chi 2 won't be part of phase 6 but it seems no franchise is getting multiple films in the Multiverse Saga, except maybe Spider-Man.
