Been wanting to get back into this series after loving 1 and 3 but heard 7 is pretty useless as a single player experience is that the case?

I don't do multiplayer or online at all.

For some reason I just missed Tekken 2. I got the first game as a bundle with my PS1 and got the 3rd game as a present. I was mid teens then so couldn't afford lots of games. Though I didn't do too bad overall.

Tekken 3 was the one I really got into with all the combo's, etc though.

Leroy’s a pretty cool looking character. Might try and learn his moves properly. I like big rosters and love Tekken characters so it’s all good with me. Asuks’s outfit seems to be not very popular so far. I kind of like it.

Yep as someone who took a 17 year break from gaming the best part has been finding out which franchises are still going and I am so glad this is one of them. Took me a while to play 7 due to the lack of SP content but the gameplay once I did was exceptional. Seems Tekken 8 has more SP stuff.

That’s a long break! . Glad you enjoyed 7. It sounds like they’re trying to make Tekken 8 as accessible as possible to new users too.

It was I just fell out of love with gaming as a late teen as discovered alcohol women night clubs etc. Was still well into my movies that's why I joined here way back when. But after a few sips back into gaming finally got myself a PS4 in Jan 2017 and the rest is history.

T8 looks an improvement on 7 in every way.

I also took a virtual break during much of the PS2 generation in the young going out years lol. Never left completely but my time playing was nothing compared to the generations before and after.

Yes, it’s looking amazing, hopefully as good as Tekken’s ever been.
