Space and Astronomy Megathread (MERGED) - Part 1

This is kinda neat. Since the Space X "Inspiration4" mission isn't going to the ISS, its docking port has been replaced with a dome window.

I know this is completely out of left field, but I wonder if people ever get motion sickness when in space. That could get kind of ugly. :nono:

Launched in 2018, the European/Japanese spacecraft BepiColombo just made its first flyby of Mercury. It’ll have to perform five more flybys before it finally settles into orbit around Mercury in late 2025. BepiColombo performed similar deceleration maneuvers using Earth (once) and Venus (twice). Turns out, slowing down in space is difficult.

My ex gf and I saw a UFO about ten years ago. It was a low orbiting ship with three glowing orange lights . It hovered for a couple of minutes and then disappeared.
