We experienced a brief downtime due to a Xenforo server configuration update. This was an attempt to limit bot traffic. They have rolled back and the site is now operating normally. Apologies for the inconvinience.
The inclusion of the Donner henchmen makes me believe that Lex will not be completely humorless, but Gunn did said that he doesn't like Gene Hackman's Lex, which makes the inclusion of the henchmen all the more confusing, but alas.
In fact, they were so confident in BvS that they greenlighted Snyder’s entire JL trilogy ahead of its release, JL began principal photography 3 weeks after BvS’s release.
Needless to say that this decision would prove itself to be extremely shortsighted, to put it mildly.
I think a fairly easy way to differentiate this movie from Snyder is to go all in on the Lois & Clark romance for the marketing, market it as almost a rom-com.
I have faith that David and Rachel will have chemistry to spare with these sorts of pictures:
What about Benjamin Walker as Jor-El?
I think he'd be the perfect compromise between the pre-Crisis young Jor-El and the middle-aged Jor-El popularized by Marlon Brando.
Like I said on the other thread, I know that Gunn insists on always working with the same team, but he really should have gotten a different costume designer for this.
