Immediately ask for their Retention department for cancelation. If you have to say you're moving to a new area without Optimum or Suddenlink. Some people will try to call the new subscriber number which immediately gets you a sales agent, but be careful cause they're trained to up sell you rather than transfer you.Anybody have any experience cancelling an Optimum TV subscription and have any tips?
I've tried numerous times, I get put on hold and transferred a dozen times, then the call gets magically "dropped" and I have to start all over
At this point I've spent just about an entire work week trying to cancel their stupid TV service
For the low price of 24.99 a month...with ads. What if they buy WBD and Hulu and fold in Peacock, Hulu, and HBO Max into one giant streaming service! It will never happen but fun to think about.

Oh, but you have to pay for the Plus tier for movies for another $10 and that's still with "limited ads".That’s honestly not a bad price for something that would have content from WB and Universal
Comcast Would Be Interested in Buying Hulu, CEO Brian Roberts Says - Variety
Peacock gets absorbed back into Hulu is something I never considered.
Can they finally ditch 480p for the base plan?I’ll probably stick with the $10 plan

HD should be the base plan with a single screen allowed at a time.I’m going to be honest with you…I can’t really tell the difference, at least not to the point where it bothers me. It would be nice if they upgrade at the same cost but that’s not going to happen anytime soon (if they ever do).
