Characters from Marvel TV that you feel should/could appear in the movies

I still want Quake/Daisy to show up in a supporting role in one of the films.

You know that comic Ladies Night were Black Widow and Crystal go to "pizza place" and wind up kicking ass? I would love that - only with May, Mockingbird and Quake added to the mix. It would be so much fun to see all those characters together. Would be an awesome one shot.

But back on topic - I'd love to see all the people from AOS show up in the movies at some point or another. Especially Coulson, Mockingbird, and May.

Presumably Mockingbird and the Netflix heroes could show up on the big screen.

I could actually see them mixing the film and television sides in the One Shots before we see it in the films. It would definitely be easier to work out, schedule wise.

No one from AOS should be in any of the movies. That show is easily the worst thing in the MCU right now, and the only thing where it feels like I'm doing homework by watching it. It's a shame that the quality has stayed static for so long...Marvel killed it with Agent Carter and Daredevil, and Jessica Jones is looking like it's going to continue their post-AOS TV winning streak.

Really, because GOTG (which I love btw) is far more "homework" than AOS, with all of the "out-there" Marvel cosmic stuff that they just kind of throw out there.

Say whaa..? AOS Has gotten better and better with each season.

I think the problem with TV shows that get better over long stretches of time is that after a while, people stop giving them a chance. It's like, if I attempt to watch a full season of something and it sucks, it's a chore to even get to the end of THAT season, let alone MULTIPLE seasons. And sure, there's that promise of, "Just hang in there, it gets better!" but it can be tough suffering through bad episode after bad episode just because eventually it might start to not suck. And even if you do, there's a good chance that you might not like it anyway because you've endured so much of the mediocrity that the supposed tipping point isn't all it was cracked up to be.

I don't know. I watched a lot of the earlier episodes of SHIELD. And recently, I tried watching one of the newer ones. And it really didn't seem to have improved much.

Have you even watched the show since season 1? It keeps getting better and better. I actually find Agent Carter to be boring.

I think a quick cameo from the AOS cast in a future movie would be pretty cool. Kingpin and Daredevil would also make sense.

The show as a whole has improved, but my point was about the actors. This show has one of the most bland casts I've seen in a superhero show. I know a show's in trouble when I stick with it due to the quality of the guest stars. Bill Paxton in season 1 and Kyle MacLachlan in season 2 were so good that I kept tuning in to see them, and Ward somehow went from boring to the best character on the show, with actual motivations and a compelling character arc. I could not care less about May and her husband, nor FitzSimmons, nor whatever Phil's doing with the enemy. I really like Mockingbird, but the show this season seems content to waste her by having her rehab while her dull boyfriend goes on adventures that she should be on instead. None of these characters would work in a film, ESPECIALLY Daisy, who was woefully unequipped to take on the lead role of this show. She's just not a good actress, and her role seems to be either sarcasm or sub-Kristen Stewart open-mouthed blankness.

As for Agent Carter...agree to disagree here. I loved nearly everything about it, and I actually cared about the characters. Can't say the same for AOS, where I've seen every single episode and still don't care about half the cast.

I don't know. I watched a lot of the earlier episodes of SHIELD. And recently, I tried watching one of the newer ones. And it really didn't seem to have improved much.

Plotwise, it's much better. The characters are still dull as rocks, with Ward and Mockingbird being the only brightspots. However, you wouldn't know that about Mockingbird because if you've seen a recent episode, you've had the pleasure of her playing therapist and grumbling about rehabbing. Oh, and a shot of her on a treadmill, because that's clearly what the audience wants.

Rotten tomatoes scores for TV are absurd.

S1 of Breaking Bad = 78%
S1 of Game of Thrones = 83%
S1 of Firefly = 80%

All compared to S1 of AoS = 86%

what a laugh.

Yeah there is no way Season 1 of AOS was 86 percent. Even the people I know who defend the show admit the first half sucked really hard and it took half a season just to get watchable.

Not to mention season 1 of Arrow getting 86 % while the poor 3rd season got 100%!

Count me as one of the people who think AOS has improved massively since season 1, thighs go not seen any of the 3rd season yet.

70-80 percentile would be generous for AoS (particularly the first season as it's the only one i've seen all the way through.

Going to have to agree. RT ratings for TV shows. . . I've never been clear on how their methodology is supposed to work.

Before bringing some of the Defenders characters to the big screen, I'd like to see some of the minor characters show up. I'd put Turk Barret and Brett Mahoney in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Mockingbird and Absorbing Man are kind of standouts for usability in the cinematic universe, I think. I'm not sure I'd want to see anyone else from Agents of SHIELD, particularly not Agent Coulson or DaisyQuake.

Luke Cage totally needs to be an Avenger some day. Phase 8, maybe, on a team that includes people like Valkyrie (from Thor 3), US Agent (from Captain America 4), Elsa Bloodstone (introduced in a solo Bloodstone movie about her Buffy-esque monster hunting adventures), Stingray (introduced in a Sub-Mariner movie) and Monica Rambeau (Nextwave movie). :)
