China Has Landed on The Moon

It was probably just a plastic bag full of takeout menus.

From the reaction on this thread I don't think it will. The public will probably be as condescending and mocking as we've seen. Even though I posted the pic of Chyna, I don't think their accomplishment is something to scoff at.

"The rover will explore the Bay of Rainbows, where it will conduct studies on the geology of the unexplored part of the moon." This is what piques my interest the most. It's possible they won't find anything of interest but it'd be a kick in the pants if they did. ;)

Dats where dem dere Transformers folks live accordin' to that movie I dun saw!! :trans:

Shh. Don't tell no one. It's a secret.

I really hope that this endeavour by the Chinese sparks fresh interest in using the Moon as a resource for Humanity.

There is a lot there of use to us. For starters: Helium-3

Honestly, if any nation is going to be able to do this, I think China have the best chance. They are pretty damned resolute once they get an idea in their head.

That's quite funny, as I just came from there...!

Did they find any whalers?
