Exactly. Seeing as it's been said that the new suit will be sleeker than it was in Begins, it only makes sense that Bale is a little sleeker as well. He shouldn't be any bigger than he was. He needs to be able to movie around and be agile. Plus, his suit gives him some bulk.

If the suit is sleeker, you would want him to be bigger so that he doesn't look like he's lost size. If you lose size in the suit and lose size in Bale, he'll look a whole lot smaller.
