I was eating chicken when I opened up this thread. There goes my appetite.

I echo the sentiment that these guys deserve whatever is coming to them. My religion practices forgiveness, but this goes up on a list of "things I would never forgive another human being for doing." My heart goes out to the kid. I totally understand 100% that most people would never want to be forced into doing something like this. Not to be fatalistic, but I probably would have let them kill me if my sole option was something like this.
