In a historic day of talks, Ian Paisley has for the first time sat face to face with the President of Sinn Fein, and he has agreed to share power with them.

Northern Ireland's major Protestant and Catholic parties have hailed a deal to form a power-sharing government as a "new era of politics" to end three decades of sectarian conflict in the British province.

So the man that has made his career in politics saying "never" has finally said yes. And in six weeks time, finally it seems we'll have a proper government.
