Excited by the Phase 2 Box Set and I will definitely be buying it when it releases. I have heard many people state it seems over priced and I would agree, but as I heard another person mention I believe it is just a place holder Amazon is using until the retail price is released to them. I guess we will see. As far as Phase 2 goes, I liked everything with the exception of Iron Man 3 which I hated with a passion, but now find it tolerable due to "The All Hail the King" short. Giving me hope that one day we will eventually see a Mandarin that seems more comic accurate. Now before someone starts stating something about stereotyping, I say well what about discrimination. Every time Marvel or some other company goes over board to avoid stereotyping they also discriminate against people of that ethnicity. So, I say as long as the stereotyping is being handled with respect there should be no fear of retaliation. I just think that political correctness has good intentions, but it often oversteps it's intent into areas where it is no longer protecting the intended, but harming them instead, all while depriving others of what they are wanting. Then there is Thor the Dark World. While I did not hate the film, it was for me the Iron Man 2 of Phase 2. I would rank the movies kind of like this comparing Phase 2 to Phase 1 from best to worst.

Now back to the Box Set. I am very excited about this announcement, however I must equally admit that I am a little disappointed as I was hoping Marvel would be including their television shows as well. Things like "Daredevil" Season 1, Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Seasons 1 and 2, and Agent Carter Season 1, would be a welcome addition to the box set and should be included. So, I am hoping this announcement is still very preliminary and they do intend on including those television shows as well. To me those shows are as much a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the movies and if anything would make it worth paying the extra money. At least that is how I see it.

I do recall my pre-order of the Phase 1 boxset dropping in price substantially by the time it was shipped, so I have my fingers crossed that my final tally will be a far cry from the projected 295 (includes 40 importion deposit)

I do hope the top secret disk includes a new one-shot at least.

Its a very cool set but a bit too rich for my blood. Wish they would make the bonus disc available for sell by itself.
