Hello. Some of you might possibly remember me from a couple years ago when I made a stop motion animated action figure fan film called Star Wars Tales (still on youtube here). Anyway, my project after that was going to be a 6-7 mock trailer based on the graphic novels "Marvels" by Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross. Based in the Marvel Comics universe, this story followed photographer Phil Sheldon from 1939 to 1972 as he experienced secondhand the bizarre, tragic, and heroic events that make up the pantheon of the Marvel universe.
Well, this project just proved too ambitious for me, so I did the only thing I could and called it quits. While I was making it I made several photo mock-ups with Marvel Legends and custom action figures of several of the photographs the main character took in the story. I just put up the gallery for these and you can find it here . While not exactly a fan film in itself, I thought some of you here might be interested in these images and this project.
